Some of the worst food I've had at any restaurant in many, many years. The soup had no flavor but salt and after pouring the entire container of dressing on my salad it tasted like eating plain lettuce. I got the trio and all three were terrible. The sauce tasted like tomato soup. My wife got the fish which could hardly be cut with a knife. The place was packed. All I can say is there must be a lot of people with bad taste especially since there is so many wonderful Italian restaurants in the area
Spumoni bomba was so good. Also the appetizer misto was so good we couldnt decide which was the best.
This was our second visit within a couple of weeks. It was So good the first time we couldn't wait to come back. And ...... they didn't disappoint. It's not a very big spot, but the food is really good and tastes like Nonna cooked it herself. Good size menu, portions are good and they try to accommodate.
We used to love nonnas pizza but no longer will be calling for pickup. We either get hung up on, left on hold forever and this last time they just said they were too busy to take any orders. Not, it will be an hour or two wait, just nope, we are too busy so bye. Just not putting up with a business that can’t be bothered to hire competent staff - or most likely actually pay decent wages to actually get competent staff.
Food was great and so was wait staff! Bella was our wait person. Will definitely go back!
Picked up a catering order for a Christmas Party last night. Order was ready, hot, and food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend their catering service!!
Good food : Very enjoyable : thought it was a bit pricey for Italian food : pasta is usually easy to come by : Things to improve on : the children menu is very limited : There were hardly any or no pasta options for the children's menu : Shouldn't have to order a full-size $17 lasagna for a kid : would have like to hear some Italian music in the background to really feel the moment / mood. Can't remember if it was the radio / TV / or Christmas carols in the background : but likely would have enjoyed it much better if there was Italian music - even if if was Italian Christmas music - likely would have given it a more authentic sense of being in an Italian restaurant.
I rarely give a place five stars but this place earned it. We had a birthday party here with about 25 people on Dec 3. The owner worked with my wife ahead of time on the set up and menu. From the apps (bread sticks, baby arcini, salad) to the main entrees (cheese ravioli, sausage and peppers, pollo linda) to the sides (roasted potatoes, green beans), everything was perfect. Sabrina, our server, was so attentive and engaging. The drinks were prompt and they didn’t chince on the alcohol. They made us feel like family the whole experience. It didnt matter that the restaurant was crowded the whole night and that they had a steady flow of carryout customers. Whether you plan a party, dine in, or carry out, add this restaurant to your list. You won’t regret it. Thank you Nonna’s for an unforgettable experience.
Ate here for the first time tonight with our family! We have lived in Shelby for a long time and couldn’t believe we didn’t find this place sooner! It’s a little pricey but the food was amazing! I got the trio… the kids thought the Pizza was delicious. Gluten free options too. Service great! Will be back for a date night!
Just an overall wonderful place to relax and have authentic amazing food!! Marsha the waitress was great and the food was sooo good!! Our new favorite Italian restaurant
