We were in the area and decided to stop because it had been years since my last visit. You can order off the lunch menu or regular menu during lunch time, which I did. The food was not like we remembered. Actually everything was dry especially the rice. Since it's not in my general area, I probably won't return, disappointed.

Easily the best of the best Mexican Restaurants in Metro Detroit. I've tried them all. There is no better value for delicious food and generous sized Margaritas than at this location. I am instantly uplifted when I walk in the door as the staff takes excellent care of you. The earlier you arrive the better, as there is usually a wait later in the day. That applies for all days of the week and for good reason; The place just rocks! My record is three Large house Margaritas in one sitting there and I wouldn't recommend the faint hearted to attempt to break that.
Mexican village has a lovely ambiance, very welcoming and clean. I ordered Taco barbacoa and it was top-notch. It was served hot, it looked wonderful, and there was more than enough. I can recommend the margaritas there, but be careful if you are driving, they are not chintzy with the alcohol! Our server was very friendly and took care of our needs quickly.
I wasn't sure if one of my favorite Mexican restaurants had "made it " thru the pandemic, so I went after working in the area. Great margaritas ( large only 7.95, packs a punch!)Taquitoes, chips/salsa were great! Pleasant staff, not a long wait.
I stopped in at 8:34p thinking they closed at 10p, but it was actually 9p. I felt a little guilty when I realized that, but they happily seated me and my wife. Our waiter was very friendly and gave a great recommendation for the Mexican Pizza appetizer. After that we had a Wet Burrito which was amazing as well. I was happy to find that they seasoned everything well without overdoing it. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
I am not sure why it took me so long to try the Mexican Village. I was happy with EVERYTHING I got tonight. Chips and salsa, dark red one is awesome! I go the chicken chimichangas, delicious!! Strawberry Margarita was very good. Our server was fantastic! Josh was not only friendly, but very attentive to my family. we waited about an hour, but its Saturday and service was fast once we were sat. Definitely going back!
Love the ambience of this restaurant. Service from Becki was great. All staff was friendly. Food was just mediocre. Got seafood enchiladas. Personally like an enchilada that has ample sauce and a balance between the sauce and cheese. This was heavy cheese and little sauce. The enchiladas were dry as a result. Wife got chimichangas which were also dry. Willing to give it another chance but not my favorite at this point.
Wow!!! Just WOW!!!! Went there for lunch, on a whim, let me just tell you this place is amazing!!! The food is phenomenal!!!! Had the sampler platter, jalapeño poppers were some of the best I have had. The Mexican Pizza was on of the best pizzas I have ever had!!! Highly recommended this place. Amazing food, great price and excellent service!
My favorite place to get American Mexican food. The cheese and meat in particular here stand out from other restaurants. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and efficient and the bar has everything I could want when eating Mexican. Comfortable atmosphere.
1 hr. 50 min. Wait.Totally unacceptable. They really do need better trained Hostesses to seat people more fairly. We waited so long and people kept coming after us and being seated it was ridiculous.Will not be returning!Highlight of the evening was our server, he was excellent!
