Bartender was very inattentive, 40 + minutes for a cup of soup, incorrect drink orders. Place was not busy at all. Maybe 15 people… waited over 45 minutes for food.. “she forgot about the soup” typical. Don’t recommend at all.
We go to Hamlin Pub in Shelby Twp frequently. Thursday night is pizza night. We were unhappy with our pizza. We ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza. When we got it, the bacon was barely cooked..ugh. The waitress who was serving us took care of it and ordered another one that came out better. Service and food is usually good, this order was a disappointment.
Hamlin Pub hosted my daughter's graduation party in their private room this past Saturday. Morgane was very helpful in making the party a wonderful and easy experience from the planning stage through the end of the party. She responded quickly to any questions and was very flexible throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Hamlin Pub for a private party/gathering. Thank you, Heather
Staff is friendly and a inviting establishment. However, I ordered a chicken sandwich with french fries. The chicken was on the dry side and the french fries were lukewarm. I have had this happen 3 times in a row. I would still eat there however it is not my go to place.
Love the food love the drinks. Went for a party in the back room reserved room, but had to pay a fortune just for the room. Will definitely head back just for the bar and good service. Take your parties elsewhere though.
First time in here and bar tender was awful, definitely seemed like we were getting purposely ignored.Food was not bad no issues with that, but the bar service was garbage and the live band music was waayyyy too loud
Jen was my day time bartender, she was cheerful, attentive, welcome everyone who entered, made sure my food came promptly, and made my visit an exceptionally pleasant one. She deserves the praise and I she made me realize a wonderful Hamlin experience.I wish my local Hamlin pub at 22 and Hayes would hire someone like Jen as their daytime bartender.
I like their food but service is bad. We waited for at least 30 minutes for the our dinner. Then our server never came back to check on us. I needed water and my son need refill on his soda. I had to get it myself and walked to the bar. Very disappointing. This happens twice already, I was hoping this time I will have different experience. Not going back anymore even though I like their food.
Service was terrible. Took over an 1-1/2 to get our food. When we did it wasn't even hot. I know help is hard to get these days, but, there were five different wait staff that we saw. Our waitress never checked on us or asked if we needed beverage refills. Had to wait an additional 20 minutes for our bill. Definately won't go back anytime soon.
Well since I can't give it a zero I guess it gets a one. Went here a couple years ago and had the worst experience ever, waitress ignored us and when she finally acknowledged us we got our beer and put in our order. After waiting for an hour, waitress comes over and states we can only order appetizers, we ordered burgers. So we left. I recently went back to try it again and again had the worst experience ever, got the wrong food and the waitress gave me an attitude. Will NEVER be going back.
