The food was good and priced well. The service was efficient.

It has been years since i have been here. The food definately has changed. Very bland and we even sent one dinner back. Very disapointed

The food was exceptional. And, Sam, our server was the best… so accommodating. Whenever we dine there, it’s always a good experience. We were celebrating a birthday and was given a complimentary cannoli with sparkler… so cute. And, they have the best artichoke dip in town.

We sat in the main dining room and it was extremely noisy because there are no partitions between where people have parties in the dining room and then with a party on each side of the restaurant while we were dining. While it’s good to hear people enjoying themselves it was too loud especially with these parties screaming infants

Had another amazing meal. The food is great, awesome wine list and service outstanding.

Always good food and service at Filippa's. The patio is beautiful (although we sat inside because it was very warm outside).

Let me first say, we have loved Filippa's in the past. Intimate, quiet, good food, efficient service... before Covid. However, now we found the environment too loud with a band or DJ on the patio and live music in the bar, loud conversations and large parties next to us and poor acoustics/sound deadening. The choice is "energetic", but I would just call it LOUD. The service was adequate, but appeared untrained. The busboy reached across the table to pour water twice before my wife (a former catering manager) stopped him. And his chewing of gum like a cow chews the cud as he passed through the dining room was off-putting. The waitress was pleasant, but so soft spoken in this noisy environment that we couldn’t hear her and had to have menu items repeated. She served food from the right or left, whichever was convenient to her, even though we were seated at a table open on all sides. Grated cheese was offered prior to the entrée, but it would have been nice with my soup. Fresh ground pepper was NEVER offered (the norm when serving the salad course). The waitress didn’t know the requested drink (nor did the bartender) and asked me to describe it. At that point, I just asked for a hard cider. Thank goodness she didn’t open it (which she SHOULD have), because the brand (which shall remain nameless) is not palatable, so I sent it back. Wish she had told me the brand they stock beforehand, so I could have saved her the trip. But the food, oh, the food. Salmon, chicken parmigiana, and eggplant were all well prepared and presented. The kitchen made the experience worthwhile. Finally, the staff needs to learn how and when to clear plates. If you deliver the entrée and I’m still working on the salad, don’t assume I’m done and try to take it. People like to take breaks while eating, and until I place my silverware at the top of my plate, don’t assume I’m done (etiquette 101).

Food was as good as the ambiance! Reasonable prices. Staff was polite and attentive! We’ll be back, soon!

I was there for a engagement party . The service was excellent the food was great 4stars
