We've been eating here since the early 90's. We hadn't been in 7 years though just because we didn't get to this part of the state. Nothing has changed!! Still some of the best food around. First timers are encouraged to try the bear supreme Burger. Come hungry, but be prepared to wait for a table. They're always busy. At least at dinner time. Try their soup too.
Ok... Seriously. This place is amazing. Don't get scared off when you first walk in. Their burgers are killer. I've have many burgers in countless cities and this place ranks. Also.. theyve got great fries. HIGHLY Suggest! Tell 'em Big Marge sent ya.
My boyfriend got the giant burger and loved it. I got the small burger and wasn't a fan... but I don't like burgers so don't take my word on it! Would return for sure. I'm a fry girl and the fries were on point. Everyone was so kind. And the place was clean!
My girlfriend and I went here and I got "The notorious bear burger" and she ordered the smaller version "The cub". It was pretty good. I ate the whole thing in about 10 minutes or so. It's definitely possible to finish the entire thing if you want to test your stomachs limits a little bit. We both felt like our chairs were going to break if we moved wrong as we were sitting at one of the higher up tables so that wasn't great, but other than that the food wasn't bad. Onion rings were nothing special just thin breaded with a thin slice of onion in them. The fries were your typical fries also. It's a one time place for us, but glad I tried the burger.
Me and my fiance loved it we enjoyed our food and the atmosphere was great!! Our waitress was even great she was quick and very very respectful and always checking to make sure we good.
This has always been my go to place for a good burger. Last night, (2/12/22) my family and I went there and it was not a good experience. I think they were short handed on employees but what we dealt with surprised me being that the service and quality has always been very good there. Our waitress didn't try to explain to us why everything took so long, when we finally got our food everything was cold. 2 of our burgers had soaked wet top buns also, and one burger had no bbq sauce on it when it should have. She neglected our table after we got our food, didn't ask how the food was not once. Other tables arrived after us and left before us. It was very disappointing being that people come there and spend a decent amount of money expecting good food.
Had my first disappointing visit. The server was awesome, very upbeat and helpful. We ordered loaded waffle fries with no Bleu cheese, those had to be remade because they put the Bleu cheese on and when they did come out they were soggy and limp. A nacho burger with salsa on the side, that had to be remade because they added the salsa. And the foot long chilli dog, straight up. The dog and everything about it was cold so that had to be remade. They did make it right and had a good attitude about it. In all these years this has been my only less than awesome experience but it was pretty disappointing that everything was wrong.
What a Gem!!! We are not from the area and someone suggested we eat here.The best burgers we have ever had!! We travel all over and they should get an award!! Service was Excellent. I only remember her daughters name was Remington but she was friendly, attentive and it made dinner very enjoyable.Can't say that about Double JJ resort, we will never come back to this place. Glad we found a great place to eat.
Giant burgers. Tasty every thing and the wake fries I think it was. We're awesome. The waitress was very nice. Even have my daughter a little Christmas toy. I would def go back
