Food is always good.Called @ 4:00 to place an order for pickup.We we're told it wouldn't be ready until 6:20.When we got there, it was another 15 minutes until our food was finally ready.
We lived in Michigan for 4 years, about 10 miles away from here and we ate here maybe 4-5 times. After living in Michigan we moved to Texas. We searched high and low to find better BBQ in Texas then this place and nothing surpassed Bad Brads. This place is amazing and their pig candy is almost worth traveling the long distance back to eat here.
Managed to walk right in on a Friday night, which is rather unusual. I'm not complaining. We grabbed a seat at the bar. Our bartenders were great. Ordered the uptown bbq cheese fries as an appetizer. That was enough to feed two hungry people. Then ordered the three meat platter. Turkey, sliced brisket and pulled pork. The turkey here is outstanding, definitely a must try. Can't go wrong with the brisket or pulled pork. Took home enough leftovers for a few days.
We had a double birthday celebration with Brads BBQ catering package. Everything went well, was on time and accurate and was a good amount of food for our 13 guests. Would have given five stars but the chicken was a little over done. Added one extra meat which was a good thing and made 2 extra sides. Will order again another celebration.
First time back to this place since 2019 and it was very disappointing. They no longer offer the sampler platter allowing you to try 3 different sandwiches. We ordered the chips and the uptown fries as appetizers. The amount of dip with the chips was way too little and the chips had too much spice on them. The fries had an odd sweet flavor we didn't like. I ordered a classic BBQ sandwich with chicken. It was just some chicken on a not very good bun with little flavor. The coleslaw had some kind of odd flavor, cilantro perhaps. Not good in any case. Husband's sandwich was mediocre as was the broccoli. Service was good, but City BBQ or Mission BBQ in Troy have way better food
Alexis was our server tonight. She was phenomenal!! My dad has dairy allergies and she brought us an allergy menu so we could compare foods to see what he could have. Food was perfect, pig candy was amazing. A lot of food was out tonight, but we still had great options to choose from and I got what I came for. :)
Got take out for the family and it was very good. A little pricey but what isn't nowadays?Mickey sandwich was excellent, sauce on the side so it didn't get soggy.Burnt ends and pork belly were very good.The Boss was definitely Boss.

Travel for work and this is my go to place. BBQ is great, all the sauces are good, need to try all of them. Spicy is not over the top. Cole slaw is perfect, and Mac and cheese is to die for. Plus excellent service. Plus they have multiple locations depending where you are, all seem to have the same quality.
We ordered catering for my birthday dinner, figuring out what to order was not difficult the online form is set up for the number of guests, I called the catering manager with questions she replied right away, and was very helpful. The service is great (everything was ready on time) and the taste and quality of food was outstanding. I will definitely order again.
