Love the food here. If it's comfort food you're after, here ya go.The only thing I hate is the location. Both parking and leaving can be a pain.Let's be honest, the service and quality and quantity of the food more than makes up for it.
Holy cow! We have found our new go to place when we have appointments at the VA. Our waitress was very, very nice, our coffee cups never low (and if you know me I drink A Lot of coffee). The food was amazing. Tasted more like home made than most cookie cutter family restaurants. Portion sizes are huge. Price is beyond reasonable. If you are in the area I highly recommend you taste for yourself!
I ordered dinner they advised me it would be 40 minute. I arrived and waited another 25 minutes. Drove 4 blocks home and the food was cold. I attempted to discuss it with the staff not once but twice. I was told to call in the morning. I was to in the morning after. If I would bring the food back. They would re make the meals. I told him I put them in the microwave. We were hungry and did not to wait another hour to obtain the replacement. Unbelievable customer service. Very disappointed.
Very good food. Very polite staff. & great prices. & clean environment. So we we're totally satisfied. & nice big food selection.???
currently sitting in here, only 2 other tables occupied in the whole restaurant and our waitress has not come to take our order for half an hour and has ignored us everytime she walks by. have not had the food yet but no food in the world is good enough to make up for waiting 30 min to place our order.
Drove from Bay City to the State St location to get steak sandwiches. Online said they were open to 10pm. Walked in at 725pm and was refused service. Dining room was closed. I said to the girl working, it says online you are open to 10 pm, she laughed and said oh yeah that was pre covid. We close at 8 now. So not only is their information outdated but you refuse me service when you don't close for another 35 mins? Super unhappy. Won't be back!
Sure wish I could eat here. The hours posted on the front window aren't the dining room hours. No one in the restaurant could tell me the dining room hours, just that they wouldn't serve me (even though six tables around me were eating). I got there forty minutes before the posted closing time. Please figure it out and fix the sign. Oh, and hours posted on Google are the 2019 pre covid hours.
Amazing food, that takes me back my childhood. Been eating here for years, due to having the best steak sandwich. Literally everything is amazing on the menu with gigantic portions.
My favorite Saginaw restaurant. I love going there every time I am in town. I always get the Giant Steak Sandwich with Pizza Cheese. The food is always good, and even though the staff was behind on orders (because they were so busy), they were friendly, attentive, and patient with customers. It was worth the wait for this Yooper traveler.
I gotta start by saying that most of the staff is absolutely amazing...but wait times are ABSOLUTELY out of control these days. Most businesses that do well actually expand to keep up but it's obvious this isn't a priority here, it's unfortunate as this staple of the city clearly has amazing support. Maybe eventually when it is under new ownership one day things will get better.
