We're new to the area and still trying to find a great breakfast place. This was not it. Entire plate was coated in grease. I managed to eat the eggs even though they weren't prepared to "over medium" (yolks were not runny). All the eggs tasted like were grease. I didn't bother to finish the balance of the meal. Might be willing to try their dinner offerings but still looking for decent breakfast joint.
Unfortunately you can not give to different reviews so I will try my best to give my best.We arrived and was seated right away. We heard music and cheers on the opposite side and wanted in on the fun, she mo ex us right away. We sit down and order the ultimate brushetta, it was DElicious! A father and son band was playing and there were funny AND talented in singing! They even sang me happy birthday ? What made me give 3 stars today was the Turkey dinner and meatloaf dinner. The potatoes were boxed. The stuffing was gummy and Turkey a bit tuff. The meatloaf was kind of sweet and soft? The carrots However had a good taste to them. Hopefully they get more IPA on tap. They had 1 kind (2 hearts). We heard a very loud conversation from a waitress and a table regarding PCP. LCD. COCAIN. and a few other drugs that were popular than what is going on now. GEESH. My fiance who is from the islands was taken back by the inappropriate conversation dining out. So was I seeing how loud they were! The waitress was super busy with other things gs in the restaurant she kept apologizing for "neglecting" us to the point she gave us the wrong change back and still didn't full understand when she came back. We gave her 100.00. Our total was 45.55. She gave us 45.55 back! Yikes. She then told us "thank you for being honest" like Huh????. The band plays every other Tuesday. I will go back and get brushetta and wings and see how it go. The environment was nice with the father son duo! Hope this help!
Great breakfast and very reasonable. Took a family of six and the total was under $60. Everything we ordered was excellent. Definitely recommend the French Toast and the Biscuits & Gravy.
Salad bar was fresh . Fish was excellent. Third time I had fish there this month. Only suggestion is to change up the . vegetable. I try to limit my carbs and corn was served four times in place of potato. Other options would be carrots, also. Green beans, broccoli etc. Thanks.
Place hasn't changed in 30 years. Not that it's a bad thing.Food is good, if not great. Service is fantastic.Majority of the clientele is "life experienced", and my wife and I were easily the youngest adults in the building. That being said, it's still fine as a family restaurant and nowhere near as raucous as a big chain restaurant.I had a ½ rack of St Louis ribs which were pretty good. Wife loved the bruschetta chicken.
Very good fried fish! Haven't been in the area for many years but the food is still excellent. We were told that the restaurant is under new owners but that the staff and recipes are still the same. Highly recommend!
one of our favorite places. waitstaff are great and food also great!!
A big fat bummer. Went there for dinner on NewYears Day. Apparently they planned on Closing at 8pm. We were there by 6:30 if not before. Ordered the usual fish and chips and hubby order French onion soup and fried shrimp( frozen kind) Soup had zero flavor. My fish was good. Large pieces. Took 2 home. Unfortunately the salad bar was not kept up. Manager was supposedly getting more garlic toast but never came out with it. I asked for rolls and server gave us 2 burnt ones. She told us it was all they had and they weren't making anymore. Server was vacuuming around our table. Huge pet peeve of mine. I hope they get it together. Our last experience was not too good either.
Great food and service! They had an excellent salad bar with fresh ingredients as well as a good variety of menu items to choose from. Everyone loved their meal
One of the best restaurants in Saginaw. Heart warming family fare served with a pleasing trip to the salad bar. They serve most of your comfort food favorites and some dishes you may not have had for awhile. I always appreciate a cushy booth.
