I was at The Tri-City Brewing Company last Tuesday and Maria's food truck was there. I wasn't hungry so I didn't make an order. Later as they were about to close, they brought in a dozen tamales for the TCB staff. I love tamales and didn't realize they were on the menu. So I asked if they had more. I bought the last two dozen. They were delicious. I shared with my friends at TCB, and took some home to my wife. We all agreed. VERY delicious, some of the best. So Thank-you for the great food.
Tamales are dry with no flavor, carne asada had no flavor, rice and beans had no flavor. I also highly recommend never eating at their food truck. I had the chance to experience their food truck during walleye festival I had ordered my food they gave my boyfriend his six tacos then continued to take multiple orders all while forgetting to even start my carne asada tacos. I waited for 35 minutes to get my carne asada tacos. While watching 10+ people get their food all of which had ordered after me.$50 wasted
Food was good, it usually is. The buffet seems to be a big draw, but I ordered from the menu. Seemed a little short staffed, which seems to be the "new normal"
Called in my order for a chicken taco dinner, arrived at restaurant to pick it up and was told it was still being worked on. Got my food and went home to find they gave me ground beef and not chicken. Not a big deal, but the beans and rice were flavorless as well as the ground beef in the taco’s. For 14$ i was expecting more…
It's an ok restaurant. Their tortillas got cold fast. Tenders were ok but fries are delicious. Also, very slow staff. I wanted to get a refill and never gave me it until 20 to 30 minutes before we left.
As soon as I got out of my car the aroma I placed my order through Grubhub for Pickup and the food was amazing. Will recommend and I will next time try dining in
Service was great. Thank you Griffin.Food however was bland, and simply put, unremarkable. And never, NEVER, have I ever been asked what kind of "gravy" would I like on my tamales until now. What ? Gravy? Ok, sure they're homemade.... the lack of cornhusk, and swimming in gravy says otherwise. $25 mistake.
We ordered lunch via Grubhub. We ordered 2 items. The driver delivered 1 of the items and told us the restaurant was out of the other. No one called and asked if we wanted a substitute or anything. Instead we waited over an hour for 1 persons meal. Avoid any delivery.
My husband and I went to Maria’s on 12-4-21. We both got the Buffet, one ice tea and one coke. We got our bill, went up and paid and when I was going over our weekend bills see that the receipt we were given was not the same one! It was for 1 enchiladas dinner, 1 tamales dinner, 1 salsa and chips and two cokes totaling $34.62!!!! Amt that hit account was $40.62! So I guess we paid it forward for someone’s meal during this time of year?. Then this weekend we went back for take out to see if they would get it right - she repeated NO BEANS to me and what did I get? Beans!!!! They have good food but I wish just once they would get our order correct! I guess we won’t go for awhile again. Plus their buffet is not worth the money like it used to be.
I was there today with my family and sat in the corner Booth around 12 and our waitress was AMAZING!!! The food was good but when you have a great waitress makes everything better!
