I love G's Pizza. They used to have a specialty pizza called the California Pizza, but they no longer have it on the menu. Even though they removed it from the menu, they have always accommodated me and made it when asked....until today... I had a young lady, named Grace, tell me I needed to go online and build it myself, but all the ingredients were not an option. She didn't even have the decency to put me on hold to ask if they could make that pizza for me. Today, G's on Bay Rd in Saginaw, lost my business
We sat at the bar because they had a big party coming into the dining area at anytime. The bartender Brook was nice at this point. When our dinner came, we asked for salt and pepper. That never came, so I went to find some on an empty table. Our salads never came . My dinner was overcooked and just mush. Dens meal was overcooked and bland. Our server never returned. We eventually flagged her down for the bill. At this time I told her about our meals being overcooked, we told her she can forget the salads we never got and her reply was “oh, okay.” Her attitude definitely changed after we told her this. We then waited another 10 to 15 minutes for our bill. Now she isn’t even friendly.
Great place and the service is amazing!
The atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. Food was delicious and hot. Waitress was awesome. I liked that they had coloring material for my grandkids while we waited for our food and the fact that I could watch TV while we ate like I do at home. I even had food to take home because they serve large portions.
First time guests! We had the Meat Lovers pizza and the spear appetizers! Our server was very tentative without being intrusive. Our meal was reasonably priced as well as prepared perfectly!
Guess I should have stuck to pizza. Got the club sandwich with fries. The fries were great. The sandwich was terrible. There was no flavor in the sandwich at all. No condiments, very little turkey, a single undercooked slice of bacon, a little tomato and lettuce. There was a slice of cheese. Would NOT get it again!
Had lunch in there for the first time in 2 years. Ordered All Meat Pizza and original spears. It was good but seems like pizza wasn't as crisp as I remember and garlic sauce on the bread stix's wasn't spread out enough to cover the whole order. We still love this place but wish restaurants would stay consistent with their winning recipes. Forgot to take a picture but it did look great!!!
I normally love G’s food, I eat at the one in bay city and this was my first time ordering from this one. We placed a delivery order and we waited a little over an hour until our food came. It was almost cold and was not very appetizing. Mac and cheese was also not good and had no flavor and fries soggy. Was very dissatisfied with my meal.
The baked cod was delicious but not a deal at $15.99. 3 pieces of cod and one side. Need to offer fish, potatoe and one side, that would be better.
Nice variety of Italian-centric dishes. Very attentive wait staff. Moderate prices. Bar available. TVs in main dining room. A fine place to enjoy a good meal.
