Chans is great and have been going there since 1987 off and on .... Food is always delicious .... egg rolls can be a little too dark for me and I have to ask for a different one but ... that being said ... they may just have THE BEST TASTING egg rolls around. I cannot remember a bad meal there ever or a dish I did not care for. FLAVORS ARE EXCELLENT ! HOT SOUR SOUP was also always one of the best around. They add new things to the menu now and then and I like that ... one of the few places I can get a BOK CHOY luncheon !

The place is a little run down. Looks s little dirty. The person taking the order should at least be able to talk about the menu.
This was my first time trying this place, it was OK but not impressive. The crab cheese were stuffed and looked very appetizing, but when I bit into one, there was an off smell and taste that I can't pinpoint and the filling was just plain cream cheese. The almond Boneless chicken combo had the same smell and taste as the crab cheese, leading me to think maybe it's from the fryer oil? Taste was a little bland, I had to douse the rice with extra soy sauce. Egg roll was good but saturated in oil, to the point the yellow oil dripped out of the bottom and onto my shirt. The saving grace of my first visit was the wonton soup! It definitely didn't look like any wonton soup I've ever had, and I've been to A LOT of Chinese restaurants, but it was delicious! I had to rethink my mindset of what I expected, because this was more of a vegetable wonton soup and not traditional of other restaurants. Prices were fair. Workers friendly.
