Stop here last night for dinner. It was our first time. Food was great, service was good, and prices were as expected. I give them a 9 Star. Definitely will go back.
The food was delicious, it reminded me of being at my grandma's house down south for Sunday dinner but you can get it there everyday. I had the rib tips, dressing and collard greens, and I tried the okra. The portions were exceptional. The service was great and she made sure you had what you needed. And the part I enjoyed most was talking to pastor Baldwin and his wife beautiful people.
If we lived closer, we would eat here at LEAST once a week! It is seriously that GOOD!!The staff is friendly and helpful, and every time the owners have stopped by our table to chat, and express their appreciation for us coming in.We haven't tried everything on the menu ... yet, but everything we have tried has been TASTY!If you don't think you like Mac & Cheese (like me), sneak a taste from someone else (preferably at the same table! People are nice, but that might be pushing it ?), it will make you a convert.
Our motorcycle group of 19 made reservations, and coming from out of state, we didn’t really know much about the Saginaw area. This should be a must on your list if you love home-cooked, delicious food. BBQ everything and the rib tips were delish. Try every side because there isn’t a bad one. Portions are huge, and the prices are just right. The staff made it even better. Very kind and personable! We would come back again over and over. Pastor checked in on us twice, and we enjoyed visiting with him. Don’t hesitate!

Went out to lunch with the hubby today and had a fantastic meal. Thank you Dawn for the meal tips and the great service. We ate so much we had to have our desserts to go. I ordered the peach cobbler and the hubby got the sweet potato pie. Imagine my surprise when I opened my cobbler to find a delicious banana pudding! No worries, even with a mistake you can't beat the delicious food.
If you want great food and service this is the place to go ribs where fall of the bone and best I have had in years wife had Brisket also delicious. Owners came out to check see how everything was waitress was outstanding. Could not have been a better experience. TY for a great meal will see you soon. God Bless
Catfish was sooooo good!!!!! The brisket is tender. I'm really picky about my mac-n-cheese, so it could have used some more seasoning. The okra was great! But the green beans had no taste at all.
Really good BBQ.We went with a large group after a youth sporting event, so we had a large sampling of their menu. Most of it was very good, a few things were excellent, with only one miss.Among our group we had the pulled pork (pretzel bun on the sandwich!), brisket, St Louis ribs and ribeye. It was all quite good! For appetizers we had the nachos and chili, and both were superb. Might be the best chili I’ve ever had, and the nachos were huge. Sides,we had baked beans, green beans (fantastic!), Mac n cheese, fries and collard greens (which someone surprisingly liked). And the sauce…man, that went perfectly with the meats. The only thing off was the sweet tea, which was old and gross. They offered to make a fresh batch but I passed.This place is really good. Next time I am in the area, I’ll be back.
Phenomenal food and service! Slow cooked to perfection! Catfish dinner was superb. House made Mac and cheese, collared greens were perfect. We will be back.
