Drove from metro Detroit area due to amazing reviews. Called prior to make sure they were open and if they had any special covid protocols before the long drive. Arrived and waited for about 10 minutes before we were greeted,not upset about this at all because what I noticed is there was only 1 waitress dealing with patrons dining in and pick up orders. Once greeted we had to wait about a half hour for a booth. Food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. Will return if actually in the area!
I gave it 3 stars because their food is awesome, except the tamales. We got an order of tamales to go and they were the worst I have ever eaten. The staff did not wear masks, but they were very friendly. We will eat there again just not the tamales.
Alejandro’s is some of the best real Mexican food in the area! You can find Tex-mex (and it’s not too shabby). But be brave and go for some real tacos, tamales, and oh- the salsa!This place is easy to miss… just West if the Arby’s on M-46, only about 10 tables- they are rarely full, but the take out is a constant stream of folks who know The secret of Alejandro’s- good authentic food, reasonably priced, solid service and a place you’ll visit again and again.
This waitress is awesome. Knows what she’s doing and sweet.

Great food, good service, didn't notice the sign on the door that they were closing early, we showed up 30 minutes to close and got the same good service as if it was the middle of the day, we were there a little past closed and they were still polite. Will definitely be back
