long wait for beverage, food was good. interesting staff
Fall-off-the-bone ribs are my favorite food! I went to The Morrie and the ribs were amazing! They were cooked just the way I like them, and they were so tender that they just fell off the bone. The sauce was delicious, and the side dishes were great too. The price was very reasonable, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves ribs.
Terrible experience. We came for brunch, however they were out of bowls and burritos, which makes up majority of the menu. However there many bowls coming out of the kitchen. We asked one of the many people standing around why we were not allowed to order any but our waiter said she did not know, and they were out of something in the kitchen. The customers were not allowed to order the bowls but instead the staff was able to eat them behind the bar. There were at least 12 servers standing around and it still took 10 minutes to get a diet coke. The food is gross too. I ordered fried chicken with waffles and i had no fry on my chicken. Additionally the bacon looked like it was just slaughtered off of the pig. Also, the floor feels like a college frat house.
the vibes, music, people were nice. fun club to go dancing
We’ve tried to eat here three times but the front desk is managed so poorly they have wasted our time and money every time we tried. We’ve always called ahead and have not once received an honest answer on any of our questions. The first time, we called ahead and asked if they had parking during the art festival and outdoor seating. We also asked when brunch would end. They said yes, parking is free and available, the patio is open, and brunch ends at 4. We spent 20 min looking for parking because their “free lot” had been turned into a dining patio. We then paid $20 for parking down town (extra expensive during the festival which is why we called ahead). We then walked over from where we parked and arrived by 3. The hostess (same one on the phone) informs us that the outdoor patio is closed and there is no outdoor seating on the patio. Also brunch actually ended at 3 but we can grab some drinks until the kitchen opens again at 5pm. We left. The second time, we called ahead and asked if there was a wait. They said no we can walk in. We were down town arrived 15 minutes later. Despite there being many open tables, we were told that there would be a half hour wait. We decided not to stick around. The third time, we called ahead to confirm outdoor seating was available and that brunch ended at 3. They said yes that is correct for both. We also asked about reservations, but they won’t make them for parties under 6. We arrived at 2pm and despite seeing open tables on the patio, we were told it would be a 30 min wait. We decided to give it one last chance and wait this time. After 20 min we get a text that our table is ready. We walk back to the restaurant within 5 minutes. We arrive to find all the patio seats are filled and it will actually be a 1 hour wait now. I explained our experience to the host (there had been a shift change while we were waiting) and they began to argue with me about their reservation system. We decided to eat somewhere else.Bottom line, even if you can get a table there the staff seems overworked and unknowledgeable. If they can’t handle seating a table, I don’t really trust them to handle the food I’m eating.
Great food, awesome staff 10/10 would recommend!!
Great spot with fantastic decor. A must try spot for any music addict. Good happy hour specials. The menu was the perfect size and had a variety of choices. Wait staff was very courteous and attentive. Never felt rushed to leave. The live DJ was a nice touch and added that extra little something to the experience. Overall it was definitely a 5 star experience from start to finish. I can't wait to go back.
I’m very disappointed with the service. We had a large group of 16-20 and literally had to keep asking they staff to come over and get orders from us. You would think with that large of a a group they would be more attentive. I’m sad giving this review because they do have great live entertainment. The staff needs to be trained better. On top of that they asked us to move our jackets off the side of the table, really? You can come over to tell us to move jackets but you cannot come over to serve us food? Don’t book your large events here, because the service is not good.
Went here on positive recommendations only to be incredibly disappointed. Going with a larger group of individuals, we were charged with a $20 cover. After paying up front for cover they still charged 3 people in our group for cover. In addition, when we sat down they brought buckets without any information regarding pricing on bottle service. We tried to order drinks and they would only allow us to charge a single bill. There was no communication on this entering the bar. It was overall a horrible experience considering after all of this my waiter couldn’t even get my drink right. As someone who waited on people and worked in the service industry, I would not recommend.
Our group paid $15 cover per person to get in because a band was playing that you couldn’t even hear over the noise from the large crowd, unless you’re seated near the stage. The drinks and food are overpriced, a jack and coke is about $10. They charge $6 for a slice of pizza that literally tasted like microwaved frozen pizza. I’ve had better pizza at Chuck e Cheese or LC. Lastly, our server added gratuity to our $300 bill without letting me know and so I ended up accidentally adding an additional $70 tip. Most places that add gratuity to the bill, the receipt lines would at least say Additional Gratuity or mention it’s been added, the receipt I signed had no indication of additional added gratuity. The atmosphere overall is nice but the business could use a few improvements.
