Stopped in after my early morning gas run to Costco. They opened on time and the customer service was phenomenal. I ordered a spiced chai with oat milk and avocado toast. The chai was very tasty- better than my fav spot. The avocado toast was more like bread, however it was seasoned very well and the tomatoes, arugula and extra avocado slices made it filling. I am looking forward to trying more items on their menu. This place is now apart of my Friday morning ritual.
Really cool decor and cute little walk up window for takeout orders. The cold brew and regular coffees were really good (and we’re pretty particular about our coffee). The menu is huge, in a good way. They have great sandwiches, salads, breakfast and lunch items. I didn’t think this coffee shop would be a place for an actual meal, but I’d certainly come back for a quick lunch! The staff was really friendly as well.
I wish I could give this place more stars! We were having a terrible morning before coming here, desperate for coffee and some food after a pretty bad experience in our hotel. The staff at Royal Oak and the atmosphere completely changed our mood as soon as we walked in. The food is fresh and tasty, the coffee is perfect, and the staff was so genuine and friendly- you can tell they really love where they work and each other. They also have great taste in music! Thank you Royal Oak for making our horrible day turn for the better! We really needed you guys today :)
I love it here. If you plan to work while you are here there is plenty of space to do so. They are very busy during the lunch rush.Staff is great. Food is delicious!Beverages are creative and well crafted. I am very picky when it comes to coffeehouse experiences.. I will always support local over a chain. This has become my new favorite spot.
Their single origin roast coffees are good. I liked their Kenyan and Peruvian coffee. You won’t go with Ethiopian as well. Espresso (fire blend) is perfectly balanced flavor. The host is amazing. Try Espresso tonic during summer.
I stay 15 minutes from this restaurant and so far, whenever I order food from here it is nice and toasty. Their breakfast burritos are amazing and healthy to eat, very filling too. I can tell by their preparation that they want to ensure a professional experience for the customer. For example, when you order from here they will write your name on a brown paper bag with a colored marker. It may not seem like much but that personal touch goes a long way. I recommend, hopefully they can keep this experience up.

Hands down the best place for coffee/espresso/tea drinks in SE Michigan. And the drinks match the decor. The place makes you want to dress up before showing up. It's conveniently located and the staff is hip and friendly.
Great atmosphere and coffee with good choices for food as well. Background tracks are the best. Nice place for chill, talk or study.
This place is all about drinks ☕️. Amazing coffees and teas with yummy pastries. Good selection of quick bites. Overall a good hangout spot for coffee lovers. Good Ambience and decent service. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.
