This place is good for service and drinks. The service is good.....our waiter was nice and understanding and supported with removing items off the bill. The food is horrible...nothing like what was portrayed on Live in the D. We found out later that there was a change in kitchen staff which had to be the chef or assistant chef. The worse seafood choices and I along with friends are seafood lovers and overall foodies. Would not recommend ....better choice is going upstairs to Pinky’s also nicely recommended by waiter. ?
I have been to this place twice in two weeks. Both were really disappointed. The service was slow even it wasn’t busy. I didn’t like how we were treated and the drinks were really sweet just like Pink’s drinks, and not good at all. Food was just okay and not reasonable. I am glad others like the food and drinks. We were there to enjoy the food, drinks and the atmosphere, not to have our food and drinks to take off from the bill. It’s just really disappointed and I won’t bring my friends back to this please at all. Same server for both times, and really bad. Good luck to you man. Defiantly would not recommended to anyone.
We had a fantastic time at Pearls.. Staff was greatThe ambiance was romantic, fun, and elegant. The barmaid had a cute fun personality. The manager from Pinky’s (Jim) even stopped by to say Hello and made us feel so welcomed they we stayed a lot longer then we had planned but it was so worth it.!! See you soon.!
First, I want to say how amazing every employee is at Pearl's. We walked in with no reservation hoping we could get a table. It was a 90 minute wait. However, instead of turning us away, the hostess created seating for us, which turned out to be awesome.Patrick was our waiter. He greeted us right away with a complimentary cocktail, which was delicious. From there we ordered several items from the well selected and priced menu. Each dish was delightful. Our favorite was the lobster dumplings if we could only pick one thing. Everything was amazing and well cooked. Even the popcorn was two thumbs up.We will be back for sure.
One of the best seafood restaurants I've tried around the metro Detroit area! The food and cocktails were incredible!!!Try the Smoky the Bear cocktail. It is delivered in a little capped, glass bear decanter, then poured at the table. It was one of the best cocktails I've ever had.The lobster dumplings were one of the best dishes I've had. Very creative...and delicious!!!
Awesome experience at Pearl’s! Loved the food and drinks and the welcome drink and popcorn were a nice surprise! Definitely recommend the Cajun oysters. By far my favorite!!
Crab cake was good. Lobster roll made with way too much mayonnaise. Voyager's is far superior. Despite a reservation, sat at a bar table made for cocktails, not dinner. Oysters bland - no brine. Super overpriced for the experience. Made for 25-year-olds who don't know better. Go elsewhere.
Love this space. The sea scallop was the best scallop I've ever had. The Cajun oysters were good but if you love spicy you may want to ask for extra heat.
Great dinner experience! Loved the welcome cocktail, Brussel sprouts, lobster dumplings and of course the carrot cake. Didn’t care for the Lobster Mac, wouldn’t order again, huge chunks of lobster but didn’t love the sauce. Service was great and restaurant was beautiful. Would definitely visit again.
I had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant last night. My waitress Lo was very committed to great service and was very friendly. Theatmosphere was awesome and I definitely liked that you have a very modernstyle. Most importantly, every food and drink on your menu tasted great! I thank Lo for her comforting service making my first experience worth coming back again
