Awesome pizza and awesome service. Came here after reading the good reviews, which didn't disappoint! Staff was super friendly and after finding out our group never had faygo before (being out-of-staters), they gave us the rock & rye flavor for free with sauce cups for shot cups ?. And they were right about how delicious that combo of soda and pizza was. The pizza we got was the double pepperoni, which tasted so crispy and had the right amount of sauce (which was important for me since the last couple times I had detroit style pizza, they were too dry). Definitely will be back to try their other specialty pizzas!

We enjoyed the margarita and the chicken carbonara pizza. Also picked up some banana and pistachio gelato. The food was great! The gelatos mixed together (per staff suggestion) were delicious and a great add on. I want to also mention the personable and friendly genuine convo was a wonderful experience while waiting a few short minutes for my pizzas. You could really sense pride in what they are making and a welcoming atmosphere.

It was great. A perfect blend of classic Italian and Detroit style. A slightly more deep dish variety than I've had before but not super deep like Chicago style. And their specialty pizzas all sounded so good we had a hard time picking. Will definitely be going back. Looking forward to trying the ice cream they have next time I'm in the store too.

Pizza is a thing of beauty!!! If you like Detroit style then look no further in royal oak or possibly metro Detroit. The quality and skill ? aren't something that you will find around any corner. The crust has a char and thickness that will make you fall in love. Double pepperoni with apple wood bacon, and mushrooms was my choice. 2 slices and I was satisfied definitely a hearty pizza. Definitely a place with great food and great people that know how to make a pizza you'll never forget.

Outstanding first time experience after being referred from a friend that lives nearby. Every aspect of this pizza was amazing. A true homemade pizza that you just don't find anymore. The red sauce was one of the best I've had and I can even taste the fresh tomatoes. The pepperoni was also incredibly good. Last but not least, the Caesar salad was one of the best we had as well. Besides having crisp romaine lettuce, the Caesar dressing was simply delicious. Every aspect of the salad was excellent. We will be back again next week!

Best pizza in royal oak. Don’t expect a domino’s or hungry howie type of pie. This is Detroit style red top deliciousness. Fresh ingredients all around. Four corners, so everyone gets a slice with crispy crunchy crusty greatness. Affordable high quality pizza ?

My boyfriend and I got pizza, breadsticks, and salad from here this week and it was delicious! The pizza was thick but really light and the sauce was great as well. Will definitely order from here again soon!

For some reason this was my first time trying Palazzo Di Pizza even though I live right down the street. I don’t really have anything to say other than the pizza was flat out incredible. Ingredients are very clearly quality and the crust and sauce are perfect. Don’t be like me and go check this place out immediately!

Best Detroit style pizza I've ever had and it's not even close. We've had the double pepperoni and the tangy BBQ and both were incredible. Every pizza is an 8 corner pizza so you get the best of Detroit style with every slice.

We try to patronize small businesses when we can so we decided to try Palazzo Di Pizza and we were very very disappointed. We order one small pizza and an order of cheese bread, we were told that it would take 20 minutes so we paid and we ran a few errands. We got back in about 25 minutes and were told that our order still wasn't ready and we needed 5 more minutes so we agreed to wait so after 10 minutes we went back in and were told it would be another 10 minutes. We were excited about trying the pizza but ended up getting a refund and leaving. We will definitely continue to go to small businesses but this experience makes me very leery now.UPDATE: I am rarely easily swayed to do a total 180 on anything but I am thoroughly impressed with Palazzo Di Pizza and how they respect their customer's and believe in their product. We finally had a chance to actually taste the pizza and I can honestly say that they are for real about what they do, the pizza was amazing and my son loved the cheese bread, I'm usually a "thin crust" type but if you favor thick crust like Buddy's Pizza but way better you should really try here. We have a family event coming up and we are seriously considering buying pizzas from here just to show what we've found. I will keep everyone updated on what happens but I promise you will not be disappointed in what you find here. Please understand that everything is fresh and it can get a bit busy so be a bit patient because it's so worth the wait. (Unlike I was my first visit)
