Extremely rude manager on shift (@2pm 07/23), of whom, likes to yell at customers through the drive-thru window. This person clearly forgot she is in customer service. A simple /polite request would have been adequate, yet this low i.q. trailer park person felt the need to bark an order at me for not waiting at the order taking radio for an order that was already paid for and marked as ready for pickup. She tried not acknowledging me as long as she could and then was overtly rude and apparently doesn't understand barking orders at someone that isn't a McDonalds employee doesn't hold any water. Now IF this turns into a repeat issue I will contact corporate regarding this issue. Also, I am a local Google tour guide with thousands of views per month; CLEARLY the McDonalds on Woodward just west of this location is emaculatly better run. I'd personally recommend avoiding this very slow place with rude workers. Its more reminiscent of Hazel Park than Royal Oak.
Food was good. Hot. Fries were good. Drive thru was very busy and long line, so we ate inside. Which was kinda nice to have that option again as a lot of fast food places still don’t have dine in. Manager and staff was really nice at this location also.
So lately I've been craving fish filet sandwiches and every time the fish has been just what I ordered with no tarter sauce and fries hot and fresh. Yep. I'm loving it.
Food was fine. They are in serious need of employees. Doing a great job with the exhausted employees they have.

Meh. The food is what it is. But on this visit I was discouraged and saddened by the treatment I received. While at the drive-thru, my bag of food was dropped on the ground. As a senior citizen with mobility issues and a toddler in the car I was unable to reach my order as it layer in driveway while sprinkling. The McDonald's employee was so very annoyed with me and not kind or helpful. She made me feel terrible. All she had to do was say a kind word and help retrieve my order. Instead she humiliated me. And yelled thru the restaurant that I wouldn't pick it up. Another employee came out to help me. It took all of 30 seconds. My food was not remade nor was there a change in her demeanor. She rolled her eyes at me and slammed the window. I was sure to be kind thru out this interaction. So humiliating and disappointing.
Keeps getting more expensive and things get left out of order. Also, usually always a decent line but they only use 1 ordering lane (probably from lack of employees like everywhere).
We went to this location last night we called right before they closed and were in a pickle because we had just drove for 16 hours in a semi-truck.. and had asked if it was OK to walk up to the window due to the fact we couldn't drive up... and I can't explain how Helpful Heather was very polite and accommodating she was ... it's hard to find a good worker now a days... she deserves 10 stars out of 5 ... I hope management will acknowledge this review about her... again thank you Heather ?
Quick service. Almost never mess up food orders. Also the workers are typically friendly.
Love this location. Ice tea is always great. And they were about to close but made us hot food fresh.
