One of my new fav spots!!! My Mom and I dinned in the bar area. The booth seating also looked nice but the bar area is well spaced and has many tvs if you're trying to catch the game. The food was amazing!! We ordered the North Shore Seafood Pasta, fried calamari and salmon Reuben sandwich. The calamari was a hit!! They were lightly fired sitting on top of an orange sauce, kind of like a bang bang sauce with a pickled yellow pepper sauce in the center for dipping. Craaaazy combo but it SLAPPED!! The Salmon Reuben (maaaaaan what!!)!! This might be my new fav sandwich, I've already had another one in less than a week. I don't think you can order this anywhere else. The salmon was perfect & tender topped with house-made slaw and provolone cheese ???. The beer was also smooth & potent. If your server asks you how you liked it, don't lie, this place is a brew so they love the feedback. The pasta was good too, we didn't leave much scraps. One thing I have to note, customer service was BEYOND amazing!! We had the pleasure of Carson serving our table. He's also the bartender. He gave excellent recommendations on the menu, gave us the breakdown of the brewery process, family history of the restaurant and didn't miss a beat on coming back to check on our table. He's one of those dudes that truly loves his craft, and that makes all the difference in the experience!! Ask for him, dude will get you right!!
We always have the fish and chips, and if we have a room, the Keylime cheesecake, which is amazing! The wine list is comprehensive and has many things we very much enjoy. The staff is always kind and accommodating.
We went here based on a recommendation of a local. We were not disappointed. Food was very good and prices were very reasonable.
Grabbed a quick bite before a show at the Theater. Although they were busy everyone from the Host to the kitchen handled it very well. Our server was running around like a mad person but we were never without anything. They had a great recommendation for us (seared tuna) that my fiancee and I split. It was fantastic and we will need to come back when we're not in a hurry to really enjoy the place properly.
I went in to this meal excited because I love seafood and I love beer (go figure) and I was not disappointed. On top of having great service and their own delicious beers, the food was awesome. The smoked salmon mousse was so yummy, though you’ll probably want more toast points. I also highly recommend the North Shore seafood pasta!
Wonderful Cozy Seafood Restaurant!Enjoyed the Atmosphere and the great service. Our Waiter was helpful and very Attentive. Food was delicious and a good Wine selection. When visiting please check this place out.
A very nice local seafood restaurant on Washington street. The outdoor dining is nice because the restaurant can get pack. I had a garlicky shrimp scampi it had cappers. I’m not a fan of those.
Very delicious food, especially steamed mussels and creme brulee?
Flat out delicious. Flavorful amd great portions. Michael M. Was our server and was Excellent, as well as the others that helped with dinner. Great menu and environment. Would be a regular if I were from the area.
We drove 1.5 hours, 82 miles round-trip (about $12 in gas) to eat here. We’re still in the middle of a horrible pandemic and Michigan is rated “extremely high” risk. We were double masked and asked to be seated as far from anyone as possible, because I’m high risk for Covid. We were looking forward to a quiet late afternoon lunch and unfortunately, that was NOT our experience. There were at least two families with screaming/crying children, some of whom were running in the aisles with adults chasing after them. I’ll never understand why management does not address that! Sadly, and very upsetting, the ONLY UNMASKED employee that we saw was our server! She wasn’t attentive or friendly. In the past, we always received bread with our meals here but she didn’t bring any - a big disappointment, as that was always one of our favorite things here. She served our waters with unwrapped straws already stuck in them, then (unmasked!) spoke directly over them while putting them on the table. I certainly wasn’t going to drink that! I requested that my chowder be “extra hot” but it wasn’t. I didn’t bother sending it back because we didn’t want to interact with her any more than necessary and were anxious to leave asap. The coleslaw was just ok and I ate half of it. My cod and redskins were hot and tasted very good. My husband said his whitefish didn’t look good and had too much lemon. (And I think the portion was considerably smaller than the photo on their website.) He wouldn’t order it again. Our (pre-tip) check was $54 for 2 entrees and 2 cups of soup (NO appetizer, beverages or dessert) - it wasn’t worth it! We usually tip a minimum of 20-25%, and for exceptional service during the pandemic, sometimes 30-50%. Since she didn’t care enough about her customer’s health and safety to wear a simple mask, her tip was considerably less.
