Our server did a fantastic job. Even with a full restaurant she was attentive and very helpful. I really enjoyed the Muskegon Cherry Barbecue Salmon. The prices were reasonable and not over the top. Will definitely go again.
Over all this place is decent. It's not spectacular but it's good. It's also an older crowed that goes there, which is great for those of us that are hard of hearing because it's not too loud. The food was okay, I had the crab cakes and it's not the worst I've ever had but not the greatest either. I hear the perch is good and my husband really enjoyed the BBQ salmon.
Noah our server was Incredible! Professional, attention to detail,, engaging. Detail oriented. Took care of 14 people, 2 were children. Food came out a correct Temps, no errors! Food was delicious and attractive. Reasonably priced. We will be back, and I will recommend Kruse & Muer.
Went here to celebrate my mother’s birthday with family and friends and thought it would be a great choice, but was incredibly let down.Service was incredibly slow for our apps and entrees. When we got bread the first time, we didn’t even receive any silverware. No big deal, but when we asked another staff to get it, it took a while to get them. The appetizers of dynamite shrimp and stuffed mushrooms tasted good, but were small portions. Then the server kept bringing bread, so we knew we’d be waiting a long time (like an hour) for our main entrees. Now for the entrees…almost everybody was excited to order the Caribbean dishes where you pick two entrees because of the variety it offered, BUT when we got the plates the food was such tiny portions we all thought it was a joke! For $28 a plate, each of us were completely disappointed. Only three small pieces of stuffed shrimp, tiny slivers of overcooked salmon or grilled mahi, microscopic piece of chicken, and a small scoop of coconut rice in the middle among our combo plates. The server was friendly, but he never came once to apologize about the delay or showed sincerity. The overall experience was a major let down after spending over $200 on what was supposed to be a special night for my mother. We all left hungry and were very embarrassed for our friends who joined us so we had to eat more food at home.At the end the server clearly failed to read our visual disappointment and still tried to encourage us to join the rewards program after we paid the check, saying something along the lines of joining the rewards program if we’ll be frequent diners in the future. I work in the restaurant industry, but this was an eye-opening experience for what is supposed to be an upscale dining experience.
We went for my son’s 18th birthday. The waitress was nice the food was good. We really enjoyed ourselves and will dine again. Their appetizers and soups are delicious! We enjoyed the lobster and shrimp pasta and the crab stuffed shrimp. The bread they serve with casino butter is amazing.
Bread and service was good. While in the bathroom I witnessed a kitchen employee come out the stall and did not even think to wash his hands ??. Then I was sat near a server station in which a server was there just digging away in her nose in front of guests while working ??. I prayed for the health of the people that were served here
We had a large group for a birthday dinner. The seating was quite tight, but the restaurant manager was awesome and added a table so we had more space. Our server, Paige was great!! Top quality service. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the Mahi. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious!! The crab cakes were also excellent!Looking forward to going back here again.
We had a large party of about 60 people. When we arrived, there was only one server available, Nina, who was so kind and attentive. She individually impressed each and every one in our party, remembering our names, drink orders, making excellent suggestions along the way. After we had ordered, I guess there was some trouble in the kitchen, as we were informed that the chefs in the back had a personal emergency and had to leave immediately. We were about to pay for our drinks and leave, when a group of carry out kids magically changed into chefs uniforms and informed us that our food would be prepared by them! At first, we weren’t sure they could pull off such a feat. Not 4 minutes later all 60 dishes were being passed about. Olivia, Reagan, Paige, Hannah, and Nina had prepared each dish from scratch in record time and each and every bite was phenomenal. Will return ASAP. These carry out kids are super heroes!
The service was absolutely terrible! The hostess forgot we were waiting for a table until i asked her how much longer the wait would be. Our waiter was even worse and only was willing to attend to our requests after management became involved. The manager attempted to rectify the situation with a gift card for another visit, but the food wasn’t great so i won’t be coming back. It may have been just an “off day” for the restaurant and we were impacted by that, unfortunately first impressions are lasting and for that reason alone i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nor ever consider it again!
The Management has poor hospitality toward accommodating customers. I was called girl on one visit and informed management and on another was told that I could not submit my reward card for a reimbursement because my bill was already processed. No follow up or a call to apologize or forward support if I visit in the future. I will not be visiting or recommending them again.
