they clearly had a bad day today cause service was terrible. there was only one woman from the bar who went out of her way to help us which was nice, but the server we had was slow, careless, and definitely high on something. served us water and spilled it, then never came back with a towel. had us wait forever to even get our order taken. i’ve worked in food service and currently work in retail, so i get it if the kitchen is backed up or you’re understaffed. but i can only be so patient when there’s only 5 tables and our server is just mindlessly walking around. i didn’t even need anyone to be super friendly, i just wanted my food and leave. but the whole experience took over 2 hours. and we didn’t even order much. i would’ve given 1 star if it wasn’t for the bartender who came to help us

I Just wanted to say a big thank you to Mrs Kimberly Louis she's genuine kindness and bluntness at times when I needed to face reality are what made me progress. I invested $2000 and got $16,700 in a week. I only wish I had known about you earlier from the first moment I decided to trade. Nevertheless, I am grateful! contact her via Email: [email protected] WhatsApp: + 1 (860) 556‑3122

It’s alright, nothing special. The pizza kinda sucked. Burgers are good, nothing great. Breadstick were alright. Their chicken was pretty good though, can’t go wrong with either of their chicken apps. Fries average. Drinks expensive.Service was good, they were attentive even when busy.Overall: 5.7/10

While meeting up with friends as a local halfway point, we stopped into this Brewery for a drink and appetizers. We did not know that the place did not open until 4:00 p.m. on a sunday, we thought that was unusual, but thankfully we had arrived just a minute or two prior to 4:00 p.m. We had an excellent server who was very prompt, very good with knowing when to check in in us. He was an excellent server. Our food and drinks were great, especially because they offer a daily happy hour with reduced prices on items! We would probably come back for another visit!

Pizzas are the best. I love the truffle fries and the breadsticks as well. We'll definitely be back

First time at Jolly Pumpkin Royal Oak after an amazing experience at the Lansing location. Service was excellent, beer was good, but unfortunately the food didn't hit the mark for the price point. Ordered two chicken sandwiches which were extremely small with most of it being breading which we accepted might be just the serving size. One was grey, full of hard chunks, and not edible. Our sever got another sandwich which was much larger and fresh. Overall seems like the food can be good but too pricey to roll the dice when 2/3 sandwiches came out bad.

Our last visit wasn't the best experience. Our bbq pizza was under cooked and we were unable to order bbq sauce for the kid's chicken tender meal. Usually the food is amazing, so I was a little surprised. Hopefully it was just an off night and things improve next time!

Very mediocre, as many of the other reviews have stated. The best thing they have going for them is the atmosphere and location. Otherwise, the food selection is spare and the quality is underwhelming. The drink selection is particularly small for a place that calls themselves a taproom. I would suggest going to one of the other Jolly Pumpkin locations as they have much better food and drink selections.

We come here for trivia every Tuesday. The trivia is great and the atmosphere is nice. The food that they have is good. But the menu is so small, that it feels more like a cafe than a restaurant. Our group is considering playing trivia somewhere else because of this one simple fact.

We ordered a couple of pizzas, which turned out good, the truffle fries were very crispy, and the dip was amazing. We also ordered bread sticks, which was a little disappointing, as it felt too doughy. The drinks were good, the service was very good, server was warm and welcoming.
