We tried both the sandwich and the salad bowl. The chicken was fresh and hot off the grill. They were both delicious. I like that we can choose what we want so you can pack either one with all the different flavors they offer.
Zack showed excellent customer service even provided me with a 20% coupon. The food is excellent and what I loved most about this restaurant. It's open on the weekends til 3:00am/ weekdays 1:00am.. They also have outdoor seating.

Hands down, the worst middle eastern food I've ever eaten. I've eaten all around the world and all around Michigan so I'm used to mediocre food, but this beef shawarma was hands down the worst I've ever had anywhere on the planet. Tasteless, dry.I made a basic beef shawarma (Pickled radish, sumac onions, tahini, little garlic paste and a pickle). It was the worst beef shawarma I've ever eaten. It's right next to a large bar so it's nice to have an eatery open till late but McDonald's, taco bell, anywhere else would be better. The flies around the store weren't an indication of quality either. I can recommend anything over this, I've never been so displeased with middle eastern food in my life.
Placed an order through their website, then they called me it wouldn’t be ready for over an hour. So I decided to cancel my order right away. I am sure that’s plenty of time to not start my order. Well when I wanted to cancel my order, they didn’t know how to cancel it and refund my money, and was told they couldn’t help me. I was told to go through my credit card company. What a joke. So here is a one star review, for poor customer service.
Wow this place is awesome. I have the world’s pickiest family and we ordered out for dinner in a pinch and everyone loved it. The chicken was juicy, the hummus was delish, the lentil soup was comforting. We will definitely be going back.
Walked into this establishment and I was greeted by the most respectful individuals. It was my first time and they guided me and help me pick throughout the options. I went with the chicken cream chop…. It was a life changing experience. I now have a new high standard for every other place. No other restaurant in Michigan tops this place. I’ll be back again, and again, and again!!!!!!!!! 5/5
Absolutely amazing customer service really stepped their game up. Amazing food, amazing people, and a great place to be! I would highly recommend coming here and grabbing food before going to the hookah lounge to enjoy a relaxing night with your friends! I come here every weekend and I’m always greeted, talked to and treated like family. 10/10 would recommend!!
Great staff and customer service. The food is delicious, fresh, and authentic. I got a falafel bowl (get it fried, baked falafel ain’t even falafel) and watermelon juice which were great.
I love Royal Oak been here for over 20 years. Every time I search for best place to eat near me, still discover hidden Restourants. Joe’s Grill is one of them, today needed something quick, healthy and low cal. The owner has recommend perfect combination, it was like home cooking. If you have not tried it yet, don’t wait place delivers highest quality. I love the part everything is done from scratch no microwave.
