The pizza here is really good, though the last couple of times that I ordered here for delivery it's been a disappointing experience. They left the breadsticks off of the order about a month ago, but after calling in about it they assured me that all I have to do is call in from the same number, and they would include the missing breadsticks. A friend of mine placed an order last night, and mentioned the breadsticks. When told that I would have to call in from my phone about it in order to get them, I immediately did so - only to unfortunately hear excuses from a lazy and pretentious-sounding employee about how they can't simply be added to an order in progress (1 minute in progress at this time), I would have to call in and place a separate order on another day. The 2 stars here are for the taste of the pizza. The food is a bit overpriced (1 star less), and at least one employee's inability to work with paying customers to make things right is another 2 stars less.
Pies are numerous. I mean. The menu of crazy concoctions is large. However if you are still looking for a straight pepperoni and cheese they still got you. Great staff, great pies. One of a kind.
The Athena… absolutely delicious and the perfect combination of feta and veggies. Ordered at midnight and was noshing by 12:30; enjoyed every bite of this cheesy zesty blend of fresh Mediterranean toppings.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!Just called to ask if the shop could add a small side of ranch to our 50$ order as it was not offered on the online menu I had to call. I was willing to pay by phone for the $1 sauce.The man who answered was named Keith & I am telling you I have NEVER been spoken to disrespectfully in my life. He also ended the phone call by hanging up the phone on me while I was talking.I am seriously disappointed in a company that brands themself of peace & love to be so cruel and mean.Will not be ordering here ever again & making sure my friends don’t either.
If I could I would give them a zero star. So disappointed right now, especially when prices are up you want and should get a decent experience. The guy at the counter (although was nice) with the Indiana Jones hat dropped my breadsticks in the back. Was waiting for him to say something, I know a lot might think it happens and I agree but it was not address in any matter. However here is the problem with him not saying anything, no sauce because the container busted when he dropped it. So no sauce at all and by the time I got home the sauce went through the bag and onto my carpet in the car. So thanks hat guy for not saying anything and letting the sauce run out all over.Then on my BLT pizza I asked specifically in the notes to please make the blt with pizza sauce and mayo. Can you guess what I get it…..? Yup a pizza without sauce. So disappointed and not very professional on Hippies part. I know I’m only one person but you just lost my business.
Great Pizza!!! Skip the salad and don’t ask for sides. I asked for side of artichokes, thought the foil rapped object was my artichokes and got home to find out it was just a piece of bread . We ordered pizza who needs an extra side of bread when you have pizza !
We drive all the way from the waterford area to get pizza here, it's our main pizza spot. I'm vegan, my husband is not, and it's the only place where both of us come away happy with pizza we can both eat. Seriously, worth the 30+ minute drive every single time. Besides having tons of vegan options, the sheer variety of toppings, pizzas and sides available literally can't be beat by any pizza chain I know. For what you get the prices are just right and we have never had a bad meal from this place. We got a large order for a seperate girls night/guys night for our friends, came away way cheaper than expected, food was ready on time and looked great. We forgot to mention our coupon and the restaurant wad nice enough to still give us a discount since we had such a large order (5 pizzas, 2 large orders of breadsticks, Munchie platter and an extra side of hot dog bites, which are my husband's favorite). Husband I are both excited to share our favorite pizza haunt with our friends and get them hooked on Hippies too! 10/10 will continue to drive an hour round trip to get pizza here.
I just tried this place and it is AWESOME! There are a ton of traditional and modern toppings. Great for both meat lovers and vegans. Fresh…Fresh…Fresh. The GF crust is amazing! Customer service is so nice!
Ordered a White Stripe pizza and a Caesar salad, was told they were out of croutons..no biggie, can I sub for a Greek salad? NOPE. Can't do it, can't be done. For some reason, they'd rather lose a customer over $1.00 then just sub out for a different item . Pizza was cold when it arrived, tried to call them but was put on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever answered. Read the reviews, they're telling the truth, customer service sucks. I'll never go back and I was literally there the day they opened.
They told me that the order would be ready in 40 minutes, but it wasn't close. I sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes waiting for them to bring it out.My wife ordered goat cheese on her pizza and, instead of adding it to her pizza, they subbed it, omitting the mozzarella cheese. My pizza, a Mediterranean, was just okay; the crust was soggy and fell apart.I'd look for someplace else.
