Every time my husband and I go, the service has been excellent and the food even better. My husband and I travel from Flint, at the drop of a dime to dine!! We Love the fact that they have late hour's (3am) and they were still in place during the pandemic (Thank You), also the portions for the price you can't beat it and Every time we go, the Quality remains the same!!!! I'm always telling people I know, to check it out, it's worth the drive!! Oh and I just Love the look of the New inside to what I will call the new add-on and the selfie wall is cute too me!!! Have gotten take away here 3 times. All 3 times the food has been hot and tasty. I've gotten the N.Y. plate all 3 times and the chicken and lamb has tender and tasty. The rice was cood thoroughly and seasoned well. The garlic sauce combined perfectly with all the ingredients. Good job
This place is the best I have experienced in a long time! My Aunt told my mom about it and took her there for lunch and she loved it! My mom then took me for lunch and I had the #2 and took home a chicken gyro and both were delicious. I will be there at least once or twice a week to treat myself and I live all the way in Taylor Mi but the drive is very much worth it. You will not be sorry and the staff is very professional and inviting. One try and you're sure to pin this place as one of your favorites.
I was delighted to discover Detroit Eatery today! I was able to try several things today - all of them delicious - and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu. Fantastic service, super nice owner. It's a really cool venue - you can walk up, order, and get your food right on the street, and you can take it to go or eat it there. Right now there's a patio outside and they are adding an inside dining room. Great experience, can't wait to go back.
The NY style bowl is really flavorful and wonderful. I also tried the mango Lassi and really enjoyed that. The whole restaurant has a street style vibe to it and serves various dishes. There's a small covered seating area outside where you can watch the bustling city around. Will definitely be coming back!
Hits that NY Halal cart spot in a big way. I crave the saffron rice probably once a week! Great stuff.
I got a number five lo mein and vegetables and mango yogurt smoothie type of drink that complement each other very well. The guy taking the order was very polite and bubbly would’ve been five stars if the outside seating had a heating lamp to stay warm. Overall great experience??????
Excellent food! We tried the butter chicken and the NY style lamb and chicken platter and they were both exceptional! The veggie samosas are delicious too. I can't wait to go back and try more. Ordering online was easy and our food was ready quickly.
I always order the NY style chicken and rice platter for takeout. They fill it up and give me a generous amount of food for the price. Very kind workers. The food overall is great quality and I find myself always having leftovers. 10/10 recommend. I love this place.
