Pretty good food. Long wait BUT not too much to cause a huge issue. Our waitress was nice just didn’t care enough about our table (not that I need a lot of attention, I just dont like sitting with an empty water glass for 90% of my time there). It was a slow night and she was caught up in side work (most likely) so we weren’t paid attention to more than get then order, bring it, and drop off the check. More transactional than service but my food was good so it could’ve just been an off night, we all have those
My experience at City Tavern was amazing! The food, atmosphere, and energy of the restaurant is great! The best part, was our server Mark! He has the best personality. Made our time even better! He’s the guy to ask for! ?
Went here for a little date with a friend and I would absolutely go back. First off, our host that sat us had Down syndrome and as someone with a sibling that has downs- I was so moved to see such a busy restaurant have the compassion to support and encourage this man to be able to work. Not all restaurants would do that, and I would go back because of that alone! He was so kind and wanted to make sure we got to sit exactly where we wanted, whatever made us happy! Our waitress, Paige, was so kind and attentive. I got the margherita pizza and it was delicious! A very delightful experience here:)
Would recommend the adult Capri sun!!! I can’t stop thinking about how amazing it was. Pizza was good and the service was so nice! Would come back when looking for a tavern vibe
here's the thing, i entered this glorious establishment initially out of pure shelter from the bitter rain. with a couple buds by my side, we crossed the threshold of City Tavern and were instantaneously greeted by Brina, who became our server after letting us choose our own seating!after finding a comfy spot with the boys, Brina really came out of her shell with a wonderful amount of energy that is fairly comparable to the human embodiment of a shot of Fireball. we ordered some chicken rolls and brews (as you can see from the attached photograph, i finished the beer).feel like my experience here today helped turn the course of my evening of fellowship with the brotherhood into one of the better experiences that could potentially be. thanks Brina for being yourself ??
We came here for karaoke night and it was so fun! Food was delicious. Mark was our sever and he was so friendly and professional! He made recommendations on the menu and offered us great service! Will definitely be back again.

Their Chicken Tortilla Soup and Spicy Chicken Eggrolls are DELICIOUS!!! Pizzas are very legit as well. One of my favorite places to eat?
Walking into City Tavern brings a smile to my face every time. The employees are so welcoming - from bartenders to wait staff. The food is great. I usually try to arrive early on dance nights to try to grub beforehand. Make sure to say hi toHeather and Arika if you happen to stop by.
