Terrible food, rude slow service. There are plenty of better Mexican restaurants in this area. Warning: Do not eat here.
food was outstand. Friendly staff
I don't know if everywhere is charging for chips and salsa now adays but this is my go to place and and they now charge for chips and salsa. Their prices have gone up. I paid $28 for the food and drink in the photo. The meat seems as though it comes from a bag! It's not chunky meat with seasoning. It did not have taco seasoning flavor !
We enjoyed dining here!It was a bit toasty with the doors open and no fan, but I hardly noticed once I could sip the sangria which was VERY good! I wish they had a larger alcoholic beverage selection, though. The chips and queso and salsa were also very good. I thought the chicken flautas were good but a bit dry and my fiancé loved the beef chimichanga he ordered. We’ll be back :)
Food was decent, but the service was less than acceptable! Short staffed doesn’t mean that you should keep the garage doors open when 100% of the restaurant patrons were freezing! I asked for them to be closed, and there was no response! In fact, the hostess/bartender, laughed when our waitress asked if the doors could be closed! This same hostess/bartender didn’t even thank us for our business on our way out! I wonder why their understaffed? We won’t be back, unfortunately!
The food is too greasy, you get more cheese than meat, they fry the soft shell tacos, the rice comes from a reheater bag, absolutely disgusting. They put way too much grease...too much! And I'm a chef!
First time here today and I already want to go back.To start off, the chips and salsa were fantastic. The chips were warm, thick and super crispy. I could have filled up on those alone. The star of the show was the birria ramen. I can't describe in words just how delicious it was. The birria was fall apart tender, the consomme was seasoned so well and the ramen noodles were cooked to perfection. The noodles kept firm in the hot broth. It was just so good. You also get corn or flour tortillas with it.They were definitely short staffed but the service was still good and everyone was so friendly.
This place is actually gross. They might sell drugs. They actually forgot to remove the skin from the onion in the fajitas. Burning hot, dry as a bone chicken. Everything is heavy beans. The service was terrible but there was a woman hanging out at the register basically watching the two women run all over forgetting everything you asked for. Decent chips. Mild salsa had a fish taste. Fajitas did not come with lettuce. Not to mention we asked for extra napkins, waters, sauces, and drinks numerous times and nothing. Took us two hours to get our food which was something I wouldn’t even feed my neighbors barking dog. When we got the bills and handed over our cards the server didn’t bring back one of our credit cards and then thought we were “playing her”. Hoping there isn’t fraudulent charges for tomatillos and corn tortillas tomorrow.I will forever now be loyal to the grand Aztec’s. I’m sorry I strayed.
This is based solely on service. My fiancé, her friend and me went here for the first time. They were busy but not crazy. We stood there for 20 minuted with numerous staff walking past us and didn't even get a hello, a sorry that it's taking so long, anything.I understand being busy, but the lack of any form of customer service is terrible. Don't know if I'll ever try to go back.
Had SUCH a great experience here in January. I've been here before when service was slow, but it was humming right along on my most recent visit. The food was delicious and I was very happy to have leftovers! If you've tried before and maybe not had a great experience, go back, it was great!
