I had breakfast here twice during my stay in Royal Oak and enjoyed it both times. The inside is comfortable and spacious, the service was spot-on and attentive, and the food very tasty. I had the ammoglio scramble then the smoked salmon scramble. Both were very nice, comes with toast, jam and fruit. I highly recommend!

Very disappointed in this place. Not only did we not get our drinks before our food, I ended up paying way too much for the meal. It was my first time here, and the waitress did not mention that they automatically add a 20% tip to the bill. I added another tip on top of that not realizing it. When I called the restaurant upon discovering this, they told me they would not credit my extra tip back to me. When I complained that the waitress did not mention that the tip was already on the bill, they said it is at the top of the menu and posted on the window. I was there treating my friend to a birthday lunch, and we were talking, so I never looked at the top of the menu. I will never return. ?

A terrific place for breakfast or lunch! The dishes are creative and consistent. The atmosphere is pleasant and design well done. Sometimes they are "swamped" and you must either be patient or willing to come back at a less busy time, but absolutely worth it. The Mac and cheese with beef tips is a crowd ringer, as is the Mascarpone/pear French toast. I will have to stop back for lunch and a cocktail since the bar looks well stocked. Overall, delightful!

My friends and I really wanted to eat here on Sunday. We arrived at 12pm and put in our name. We were told the wait would be 20-25min and they took a friend's phone number and texted that they would text when a table was ready. We waited 45min until my friend went in to ask what was up. They said "yeah it'll probably be another 30min." We had an appointment somewhere at 1:30pm. Luckily we were able to get into Lily's next door and got in and out quickly so we were only a few minutes late to our appointment. I just feel like that was incredibly disrespectful and irresponsible. They had the number. They could have updated us on the expected time so we didn't have to rush and almost miss our appointment. Very disappointing.

Really delicious drink. Potatoes and toast were great. But the “popular mushroom scramble” was just plain, non-seasoned, scrambled eggs with like 4 mushrooms sitting on top of the pile of eggs. I’ve had better breakfasts at little diners. Go next door to lily’s instead. So much more flavor!

My cousin and I were really excited to try out this restaurant as we like to tour around the state and try different food spots. The restaurant was clean and the customer service was good. However the food did not live up to the hype. It was honestly subpar and over priced. My cousin ordered the stuffed French toast and there was nothing special about it. In fact the French toast were not stuffed at all rather they had marcopone cheese spread in between the slices. The pears compte was all dry and dull in taste.I had the lemon pancakes. They were underwhelming as well and had an overly moist almost pudding like consistency. They were extremely thin and seemed like they should have stayed on the griddle a little longer. The lemon flavor tasted like it was imitation lemon. We both ordered bacon to which we each got 3 squanny pieces for $5.75. Talk about feeling jipped. We were both still hungry after eating as the food was not feeling at all. And for the price...that's really sad. I've been to several other restaurants whose quality and quantity of food far exceeds that of Cafe Muse and whose prices are more reasonable. This is definitely a place I experienced once and have no desire to go back.

Great food. It was relaxing . ??❤?

Excellent service, Delicious and plenty of great options for the whole family, love it!

On November 11 myself and 4 friends stopped by Cafe Muse for brunch after church. The food was good and the manager came by to see if everything was satisfactory. We told her yes and she stayed and chatted and brought the owner to our table to say hi. She said she could take our bills up for us. Four of us paid with charge cards and one paid with cash. Two days later, the four of us that used our cards had thousands of dollars in charges from Ticketmaster. ALL FOUR OF US!We called the restaurant and they kept saying the manager would call us back, because they had been having trouble with their charge machine, but he never did and we continued to get the run around from whoever answered the phone. Our banks reimbursed us, but we never received a call back, an apology, NOTHING!They have an employee who obviously stole our card information and they accepted no responsibility for it. The young lady who took our cards said she was the manager and had been there since the restaurant opened and the two co-owners were breaking up and fighting over who would get the restaurant. She chatted us up and then stole our credit card information. If you go here, pay with cash or watch your charge bills. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

It's beautiful place I can't deny this. But man the management it's so dysfunctional. This place couple years a go was outstanding in service and warmth. Now they closed the main room and put in one cold room outside close to the entrance and exit. They need to offer new specials every week. Because the menu is short in choices. I never want to give up in this place it's gorgeous. I hope the owner get it together again and bring some real management. Sidenote : even if you short staffed seat people in their tables serve them some coffee and tell them they gonna be late to serve food. But don't make them wait and there is empty tables in the cafe.
