This restaurant Manager's and employees are unprofessional. Sunday July 24th,2022 @ 4pm I had an interview I came at 4pm spoke with a cashier who pretended not to hear me even though I said excuse me 3 times she was standing on front line bent over in the middle of the fry station and the heat shoot on her cellphone so I said excuse me a 4th time louder she finally turn around and say I'm sorry I didn't hear you, how can I help you so I told her I had a interview she pretended like she didn't understand me and asked if I had a doordash so I repeated myself so she went to get Barshawn who did my first interview then another manager I don't remember his name but he came 1 minute later and did my second interview I was told at the end that I had to go through a rehire eligiblity check because I already worked with the company before just a different location. Anyhow I was told I'd receive a call either Monday or Tuesday letting me know if I passed the rehire eligiblity check Monday passed now we're on Tuesday I called at 9am something this morning and spoke with Barshawn he told me they'll call me at 12pm because that's when his boss will be there and they're still waiting on the rehire eligiblity check to come back I said okay. 12pm rolled around and still no call so I called back at 2pm maybe 2:15pm not sure which manager answered but he told me they were still waiting on the results then changed it to they are still deciding because they're unsure. I feel like my time was wasted and that was very very unprofessional and during my interview the second manager told me that communication is key I don't understand when they don't communicate just pass the buck and lie.
I try to have reasonable expectations when ordering fast food but this was pretty bad. Did an online order in advance but still has to wait 20min after getting there, even though there was only one other customer. I get there is a staff shortage so that would be one thing, but my sandwich was wrong and my fries were cold. Wouldn't recommend.
I had a special order. Whopper with no tomato or onion. Was told to pull over, that my food would be out in one minute… 9 minutes later I get my food. Shouldn’t take over 20 minutes waiting in line to when I get my food.
The impossible Burger was delicious, the fries were fresh and hot. The strawberry shake was yum yum yum. Very friendly service as well
This location had my husband wait 20 minutes just to get his order taken. Instead of helping front counter an employee and the manager fought and cussed at each other in front of the customers while only paying attention to drive thru orders!
Burger King they was rushing u and Serivce was terrible to the one Downtown Royal Oak Main Street and the food was not good.
March 10th, 2022:Last time I'm ever going to Burger King, I've visited this location three times over the last three months and each time... it's been consistently worse each time I've gone.Went to get the new whopper melts (or they brought them back, whatever), and I got glared at by the drive-thru cashier and then what I'm guessing is a senior employee or supervisor while being told: "You're lucky we took your order, we close at 10pm, we could've turned you away or you'll be turned away the next time you're here at closing."When the app said 11pm for drive-thru closure, not 10pm. This place likes to close whenever it feels like it, for a long time they used to be open until midnight or 1am and they would close randomly at 9-10pm over the years until they got the closing times they wanted.Also, I customized these whopper melts a little bit and they probably just made them to specification so they could get me out of the drive-thru sooner then later (and made it obvious they had attitude about it).Never again, BK, never again.You've lost a customer for good. Thanks for making me clear out a lot of the fast food apps I used to have, too.McDonald's will be my quick to-go burger from now on, and for probably forever. Good riddance.Two stars because the whopper melts were tasty, but outside of that, the service was mind-boggling. Change the staff at this location, please.
This place serves the oldest, stalest, nastiest food of any fast food restaurant I’ve ever been too. Ordered a whopper and a chicken sandwich. Took one bite of both and threw them out they were so gross. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and find another fast food spot nearby.
Employee who took our order at the driver thru menu didn't specify which window to go to. There was no one waiting at the first window so we assumed we needed to go to the second one. When an employee came to the window he insulted us for going to the wrong window. Then they wouldn't even give us our correct food. Unbelievable, definitely the worst customer service I've had in a long time.
Ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries tonight. Fries were not fresh and tasted like cardboard. The burgers were also not very hot. The person at the drive thru asked me if I was done with my order after only getting 1 item out of my mouth and when I ordered the second I was actually about to order something else, but instead of asking if I was done or atleast ME telling you if I was finished she just blurted out my total. So I was like just forget it then. When I went to the 1st window to pay I had to wait for her to finish texting on her phone or whatever she was doing to take my charge card. I know times are tough, but geez. Won't be returning.
