Absolutely horrible experience. Ive gotten the food for years from other locations. Many items were just disgusting this time. We had 2x of the bucharest shawarma. We like garlic but the sauce was so spicey and sour it had to be scrapped off. Fries tasted like freezer, the pickles were soggy, the pita itself was dried out but then covered in paste on the outside making it soggy thru. Food went to waste.
They forgot 3 Shawarmas in my carry out order and refused to give me a credit. They tried giving me 3 sandwiches the next day that I didn’t need, I needed them the night before when I was feeding eight people. The employees were rude when I explained what happened and the “manager” said he couldn’t do anything that I needed to go through Door Dash because that’s who handles carry out orders. I filed a complaint through Door Dash and I have not heard anything. Bucharest only has one phone number for the entire company and it doesn’t appear there is any kind of manager for the operation. All I want is credit for the 3 missing sandwiches. It looks like I will have to dispute it with Visa and never order from them again. The place is very disorganized and unprofessional.
I dined here today and had their famous chicken Shawarma. I wanted to stop in at the Royal Oak Woodward location because I have been so pleased in the past with their Detroit location. Their Royal Oak location was nothing like their Detroit location . the chicken was completely charred and not edible. I threw half of it out I have attached my receipt of my order. I am shocked that they are not taking better care of their meats to not serve burned meat to their guests. I hope that the owners can improve.

Always love coming here!! The food is always phenomenal!! I was a little disappointed last night my brother usually gets the catering salad for $25 I went there last night and got the same thing and my salad was a little bit smaller. It could have been because it was a Saturday night and they were out of chicken and after im not sure. I will still go there and always recommend!!!
Absolutely fantastic. I order a chicken schwarma box and a side hummus. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the other fresh ingredients combined to create a sandwich I just couldn't put down. That with a great value makes this an absolute must have. Will definitely be ordering again.
I’ve ordered takeout from here a few times and it’s always been amazing. Highly recommend the chicken shawarma with a side of humus and pita. The pita comes warm and there’s always enough humus left for leftovers!
Typically this location is pretty spot on. My last order though, I don't know what happened. Ordered 2 extra sides of garlic and didn't get it, but this actually happens every time we order. The curly fries were beyond soggy, we only ate them because we were starving. The chicken shawarma salad was good, but the side of dressing was just oil, so we had to add our own dressing. Finally, the falafel quesadilla had barely any falafel. Disappointed.
So disappointing. We ordered a carry out order and they made a falafel shawarma instead of the falafel salad ( not a huge deal ) and forgot our side of hummus. We drove back up there after calling back and informing them of the issue. After returning with the salad we realized they didn’t even put any dressing in the salad. When I called again the girls just told me to come back up and get a dressing? Like are you serious? I should t have to drive there 3 times for one dang order. She wasn’t apologetic or anything either. We will never order from here again.
I've ordered from here on multiple occasions the food is good but, much like their other places (Jefferson-Columbia-John R), the cashiers are consistently rude af! Like, you're a burden to them rather than a valued customer. If you ask for and pay for extra pita bread or say, a side of garlic, make certain it's in your bag before you walk out the door or just don't bother going back for it. Ask for extra napkins or utensils....expect an unnecessary attitude. Oh ya, if you try to call in your order, plan to get a busy signal or just get hung up on.
