We came in late on a Thursday night, really didn’t have many choices at this time but also didn’t think service would be so bad!! Not only is 20% tip automatically included, the service was really undeserving of any gratuity. Our server told us to hurry up and pay the bill and go right after we had finished our food and still have more than half of the glass full of our alcoholic drinks. There were a group is us all eating and drinking but no we were treated rudely knowing the server is already “rewarded” and has no reason to do a decent job….Really not a great place to have been found even late at night. Don’t recommend coming here unless service and money are somethings you disregard.This is shame on Detroit/Michigan/ Royal Oak area. Sad face! My local friends said this is the worst place in Royal Oak, 100%.
Soft Seats. Lots of seats. Comfy zone. Wow, seats! Chill vibes. Damn, tater tots--you're delicious. Tostada burger? Yeah. Spicy. Salty, but beer.
I would give Dre, the bartender a 5 star. He’s the only great staff member. The girl bartender is terrible. She can’t make a decent drink and has upcharged me by $40 plus twice. The service at the table is horrible. The tip is included in the bill so friendly and decent service doesn’t happen at this location. You constantly have to walk over to the group of servers chatting in the corner. I definitely won’t be back. Four visits that were bad are too many.
I will have to think real hard to decide if I would give this place another chance. There was an 30 minute wait, which I have no problem with especially knowing it's Mother's Day weekend. There was a sign that stated that there will be 20% charge on your bill for the tip, really???? 20% and my server Kevin acted just like he got his tip before hand so he didn't have to be on point with our service. He didn't deserve 10% and he got 20 off the top, no sir didn't like that, especially since he brought back my food wrong. I asked for no cheese or sour cream but of course my sandwich came back with both and when I told him he said THEY (meaning the people in the back, like they are the ones who took my order) must have mixed up your sandwich with hers and told me to switch. I said she doesn't want this sandwich I've touched all on, he said for me to just put it over there, she was in the restroom, she wouldn't mind....REALLY???? and you got 20%. I then asked for some ketchup he say I just brought you some are you saying that wasn't enough.....if it was enough Kevin I wouldn't have waited 7 extra minutes getting your attention to ask for some more, writing this review made up my mind, I will not be returning. Kevin you seal the deal for me....PEOPLE STAY AWAY!!! that is if you want good service.
I was not pleased with my experience here at all. I sat at the bar and the bartender, a long hair brunette, came pretty quickly then once I got my food she was never seen again. I had to ask someone else for help the rest of my visit. I ordered the chicken nachos and I didn’t know that they came with the black beans, a mistake on my end, so I asked for them if they could give me the nachos without the beans and the male bartender made it such a big deal that I didn’t say no beans in the beginning, I said “Can you just at least ask? It does not hurt to ask.” He said he’d ask and then at least 20 minutes went by and he continued to work the bar, before a blonde haired lady came to me and said they can’t remake it, so if I want the nachos without any beans I’d have to buy a whole other order of nachos. So I had to sit there and pick off all the beans to somewhat enjoy my meal after not having ate all day. Do not recommend.
Wow! First timers and let’s just say, we will definitely be back.. We were seated right away no waiting. Kevin was our waiter went above and beyond making our first time easy breezy lol. Kevin was fast and friendly and made sure he checked on us Frequently. The food was also great! Can’t wait to return…
The food is good but pretty standard- I’d recommend getting the Mac n cheese with chicken on it. You get a good enough of food for the price you spend. They have a wide variety of drinks but are a little over priced.Service is also really slow whenever I have visited. No fault to the servers as I am sure they are slammed and doing their best but this is not the place to go for a quick meal/drink.
This location is Franchised and doesn't honor Happy hour until 6pm as posted on website according to Josh the manager. Their computer systems run 10 minutes fast. Therefore, the customer is unaware they can no longer get the the happy hour special at 5:50 pm. I spoke to Josh the manager and he explained he can't do anything about this situation and how corporate has to honor the time but he doesn't. Our waitress Tamia was awesome with helping (who usually works days but was helping out) us however the manager refuse to adjust the cost. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. Please go to another location for Happy hour this guy is not a good manager. Came in at 5:20 happy but now "Unhappy".

I had a really good time here. It was nice music playing, not too loud. Bartenders are awesome. Hot Chicken sandwich was really good with tatertots.
