It was okay. Service was slow and lagging. It was not busy at this time and they still took forever to take our order and provide decent table service, too busy talking and canoodling around. My husband's food was over cooked and dry, he had chicken breast. My Reuben would have been better if my bread wasn't chewy and kinda rubbery . A little on the pricey side with menu options, considering I could have made it at home better, but we were coming home from the hospital and needed some grub. I won't rule them totally out , maybe was a bad day, I may try them again and give it another try as it was clean and they were friendly, and you could eat outside in a shaded area with tables, we shall see.
Was a little disappointed today. Sadly just order it the regular breakfast two eggs toast and sausage. The sausage was essentially inedible. Barely warmed up and had a funky flavor. Coffee also was also hard to get refills. I'll go back give me another chance been going there for years
I've noticed that when the older gentleman owner is there the service is top notch but not so much when the younger manager (It may be his son)is running the show. While I can't say he is actually rude, but he is close, a bit edgy, doesn't make me feel like I want to revisit. The service also seems slower when he is there. You see staff chitchatting more than working. We've gone there for years, I'd hate stop because of poor service. It could be we just caught him on a few bad days, but in that industry, one bad day can discourage loyal customers from returning.
great wait staff. just realized that I was there 3 years ago on the same date, with the same friend. Still has great food.

One of the best, if not the best restaurant for breakfast that I've eaten at in the Detroit area. The food was cooked just right, the portions are large at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning again.

I went there for a quick breakfast. I ordered the egg Benedict with English muffin, ham and hollandaise sauce. My eggs were fried over easy. I really didn’t mind but it was not Benedict. The food was served in a timely manner, friendly service, great coffee, everything was well cooked. A great place to have a typical diner breakfast.
Dropped in Saturday for a late lunch/early dinner. The experience was ok, as in not terrible, but could have been a lot better. The service was severely lacking. They seated us and took our order promptly, food arrived quickly, that was the last we saw of our server. She would not even respond when direct eye contact and and wave gesture was made. A simple drink refill would have made the experience much better..
