Went by to visit with my goddaughter and after being in the store for 5 minutes. No one said a word. I walked up to the Register and again not a word. I’m looking at 3 people behind the counter and no one even said, is there something I can help you with. This was my first time in here. I looked for signs that would indicate if I should sit or wait for a waitress and absolutely no one said a word they just talked to each other. Well, I was prepared to buy and stay but they just lost a customer!!!
The rose cardamom latte is delicious! And sandwiches can be converted to bowls. Lots of seating. Super friendly staff.
There is a lack of customer service and knowledge at Atomic Coffee. When ordering a flat white, two staff members looked at each other and one told the other to "just make a latte". If you don't know or serve a particular drink, ask the customer if there's something on the menu they would enjoy. Please don't disrespect your customers by intentionally making and serving an incorrect order.
Came here a few weeks ago for my first time. Was disrespectfully spoken to by employee (male longer blonde hair) to put my food away. Did not explain why, later researched it was for Health Dept issues. First off, explain that. Second, ask politely. After I was told that, same employee stared at me for the next 10 minutes to make sure I put it away.Think about it being your first time at this coffee shop having great expectations, being hungry, pulling out your food then being yelled at in front of a bunch of strangers and not understanding why. Explain the policy and ask politely next time.
The only coffee shop I've ever been to that has a Bananas Foster latte. Very clean inside and friendly staff. It is also pretty reasonably priced for Royal Oak

Best coffee in Royal Oak - easily. Service is nice and quick, and there's plenty of seating, with an interesting floor layout. The specialty coffees are great tasting, and the simpler orders are always on par. Really, it's easy to talk away an afternoon just having a lavender latte with a companion, or simply, to hop in, grab a cafe o lait, and be on with you day.
Really sleek but cozy interior, and a large array of drinks and interesting latte flavors. the rose cardamom latte is really lovely, and ive enjoyed the lavender latte over ice as well. parking is usually not hard to find and the location is great for shopping/errand running.
Fairly priced, delicious coffee, kind of musty smelling. Cute layout. Great place to get some work done alone or with company.
One of my go-to places for coffee and lunch! Big fan of all of their lattes - I’ve never had one I didn’t like. House made syrups are a plus too! Lunch and breakfast options are delicious as well.
