We went for my bachelorette party! The service was excellent. The energy was immaculate. We were very catered too, and didnât go without anything! Would love to go back sometime.
Well, the night was really great we enjoyed the music and the waitress was super nice. However, when our food came out another waitress proceeded to flirt with my mans right in front of me. Kinda awkward⦠but other than that perhaps we will be back, just not on the night that she is working.
Overall very fun experience at the piano bar. Food was priced well and tasted delicious worth every penny. Cocktails had a range of options but definitely on the expensive side so beware, delicious as heck though! Servers, host, bus boys, etc... all very helpful and very nice! Establishment was clean and a very fun setting! Piano players were very fun and go the crowd involved. The cons: They charge you a cover EVEN if you have a reservation for the piano bar. I understand that its a night club on top and piano bar on the bottom but struck me as very odd going in. It doesn't make sense to me to charge guys $10 dollars and girls $5 to go and eat, should be more open about this on the reservation step. So as you enter the place it felt as if you weren't really wanted in the place or a drunk college student. If I was prepped to pay a cover it wouldn't have been as much of a deal... but still weird. Second con (but understandable). The A/C was dripping water on our table from the condensation. This is just a message to whomever to get it fixed. BUT they were very accommodating and moved the table so it was not a problem for us as the night went on.
We had a fabulous time! And will definitely return! Little surprised with the cover charge since we reserved for dinner but nonetheless worth it!
This was a really nice place with a lively atmosphere and perfect for a night out. Tequila blue was also a great time and seemed to have a younger crowd than the main level/piano bar.
My fiancé and I had a great time for his 40th birthday! The piano players were phenomenal!
Others have warned about the "you could have mentioned the cover charge" issue. The musicians 100% deserve to be paid as they were excellent, but that should be up front in the reservation. And I am all for equality among the sexes, but it's total BS to charge $5 for women and $10 for men. Equality my a$$. If you like $12 shots, $16 martinis and $15 flatbread pizza, then this place is for you.
Great venue! It would had been helpful to know about the cover charge when I made the reservation but this didnât spoil the experience. Piano players were exceptional and provided great entertainment. Food came quickly and had great taste! Definitely would visit again.
Fantastic time and great food. The new menu is a big upgrade and the service is outstanding. Of course the entertainment is incredible. So glad to see you back open.
We had a 7pm DINNER reservation for 6 people (3 girls, 3 guys) at 526 Main. Upon entering the venue, we were charged cover ($5 for girls, $10 for guys). I'm never opposed to paying a cover charge when it's appropriate. But a $10 cover charge, at 7pm?! And it's double the charge for guys vs girls? Would love to hear the justification for that. Everything on the menu is overpriced as well. The new management of 526 Main has taken it from my favorite nighttime spot in Royal Oak to a spot I will likely never revisit due to their greed.
