Good store great people their pizza is good sometimes it's hit or miss unless you get the pizza right out the oven when it first comes out it's not that great still not bad though for a quick fill me up.

Gone are the days where "The Original Buscemi's" was a local treasure. In days gone by you could get the Buscemi's subs and pizza by just stopping in. Today I bought what I thought was a classic "Torpedo" and was thoroughly disappointed when I received what tasted like a "Gas Station Sub". Their sauce may be the same, but the sub buns are no comparison to the days when they got their bread from Detroit Italian Bakery. There was almost no meat or cheese on the sub, it was as if they lined up the individual pieces of meat and cheese so they could make a single layer across the entire bun. There was plenty of lettuce though, however the quality of it was all that yellow lettuce at the end of the lettuce head. Previously I had had similar cravings for their square pizza, it was a pale comparison to the pizza of old, the crust was doughy and at the same time overcooked.If you aren't going there for their food, they still have excellent liquor and beer choices. But it seems the days of Original Buscemi's pizza and subs are over. The staff was very nice and courteous.
I ordered a turkey and Swiss 12" sub. There was 2 thin slices of turkey, 2 half slices of tomato, the lettuce was all clumped up in 2 spots, and the bread was hard. I could have made a better sub myself for half the price.
One of the best slices around, square's that you can count on.

Staff/owners are the best. Treat you like family. Pizza and subs are always good. Gratiot construction has not helped them so support a great store and stop in.

The party subs here are amazing, the little lady behind the counter is always friendly and welcoming, store is ALWAYS super clean ! Kudos for how always busy the place is !
