Excellent food, service and drink options. Highly recommend!!
LOTS of different whiskey. I don’t drink whiskey but was impressed by the extensive menu. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the French onion burger.
There was a large selection of cocktails and the pricing was reasonable. This Ahi Tuna salad was so good that my friend got and all the food was pretty good. The service was unfortunately pretty slow. It took at least 5 mins for our server to come over when we first got there. Then our food arrived and my food (pulled pork sandwich) had hair in the pulled pork. I found three long pieces but could have been more. Because it took at least another 10 minutes or so for the server to come back over after delivering our food my friends were almost done eating before I could tell the server about it. They remade the sandwich quickly but then we had to leave. I was surprised a manager didn’t come speak to me or offer anything off the bill due to the hair in the food.
Had a really wonderful night ! The whiskeys / bourbon menu is impressive, bartender is super knowledgeable : I told him my bourbon taste preference and he crafted the perfect flight ! The food was really good, you can feel when it’s made from scratch and not from a frozen box… excellent burgers. Highly recommend and now, I’m going to grab my friends, just to have an excuse to go back every week !Bravo ! ????
I guess I went in at a bad time during shift change. Me and my buddy went in for some beers and a snack. When we got there the bartender was top notch. Pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable with the drink menu. However shift change came shortly after our arrival. We wanted to order food and play a little keno. After a half hour the bartender Natalie came over to get our food order and said she would get our keno when she had time. We never played keno but my brisket sandwich was to die for. We will be back for sure but next time we will plan on being there for the day bartender. She was amazing!!
Food was excellent (it always is) . Service on 2/19 was sub par- waitress was inattentive, confrontational and rude. Not a happy person.
We had a good time at Whiskey Rae's. The food was good. The beer was great. Our server was fast and attentive; she took great care of us.
We went to Whiskey Rae's after a winter weekend evening downtown Rochester event. It was away from the big crowds and we got a table right away. The waitress was extremely pleasant and made good recommendations for food and drinks. Really good service! We watched a football game on a big screen while eating, and the noise level was reasonable. I had the chili and my husband had the large burger - tasted good! We'll definitely return.
Food was really good. Our server was professional, on point, but still like one of us. Bourbon selection is VERY impressive and they make great Old Fashionedsas well as other craft bourbon and whiskey drinks. Modern rustic decor with a nice bar and plenty of TVs for big games. Keno as well. Our new favorite spot.
We are here for the first time and it was a pleasant surprise. The whiskey selection is huge and the bartenders make good drinks. We also came in on trivia night and that was fun.The food was for the most part really good we got pork nachos as an appetizer and they were great. We especially liked that they came on pita chips instead of tortilla chips it was a welcome surprise. My wife got the duck grilled cheese as an entree and it was really good and not something you see on many menus. There was plenty of duck on the sandwich and it came with homemade chips. I had the tomahawk pork chop with polenta and squash as sides. The pork chop itself was really good, it had a lot of smoked flavor, so much so that I wouldn't be surprised if they smoked it first and then just finished it off on a pan to give it a good sear. The veggies were also good but the polenta was weird and not what I was expecting but it wasn't so bad that it ruined my dinner because everything else was excellent. We will definitely be returning
