Amazing! Stopped in here on Saturday afternoon (07/23/2022) to try the original sushi sando after seeing it featured on ChowdownDetroit. It did not disappoint! The spicy mayo fries were fantastic as well. Definitely coming back to try the okonomiyaki fries, the weekly special sandos, and the bowls!Jack also checked in with us while eating there and it was an absolute pleasure chatting with him about his food and other family-owned restaurants in the area. You can't find warm and friendly service like his anywhere else. I am recommending to Sushi Coup to all of my friends and peers. Looking forward to the next visit!
Got the famous sushi sando, it looked great! But tasted just okay. Was a bit too on the sweet side in my opinion. Was fun to try once but don’t think I’ll get it again
Awesome welcoming experience and menu recommendations. Veggie bowl I had was well prepared and tasted great with the sauce included. My first time having a sushi bowl and was pleased with its setup.
100% the best poke bowl! I had the Geisha bowl. It was amazingly fun to eat. Creamy avocado, extremely fresh salmon, and the crunchy crunch! It was the best combination!!! The staffs were so friendly and so welcoming! Jack was very nice and took time to guide people to the menu! Definitely going back!
went in for lunch the other day and fell in love with these spicy mayo fries. our trio bowl was also really good, and another customer had the sushi sando that looked like it was going to be delicious. one of the owners was there and was very friendly, and super helpful with taking us through the menu to find something wed love, although i imagine whatever we landed on would have been just as good as what we got. cant wait to go back.
Loved it! Waited a little longer than I'd have liked but the staff was super friendly and the food was great. Will definitely be back.
Excellent food! I dropped in to have a spider bowl (soft shell crab as primary protein) and it's so dang good. Great little place to soothe the itch for good soosh. Really friendly and prompt service as well, highly recommended!
Incredible. Wonderful fresh flavors, very friendly service. Menu is focused and filled with interesting combinations. The fried chicken is tremendous too.
Amazing food made to order at a reasonable price. Fresh ingredients and tasty sauces made in-house (even the spicy mayo is plant-based!). The owner is very friendly and welcoming, informative and open to feedback. When I ordered the veggie bowl, he asked if I was vegan or vegetarian to be extra sure to accommodate anything I needed. He seems like he really wants to make his restaurant the best it can be. I will absolutely be coming back.
The BEST poke bowl i have ever had! I got to create my own bowl to my liking. The tuna is so fresh it was amazing. I'll definitely be coming back for more.
