I'm tossed on how many stars to give this restaurant. The food was okay - absolutely nothing to rave about. (3 stars) The ambience wasn't anything special. (2 stars) And the prices were ridiculously high for a small local restaurant with mediocre food and ambience. (1 star) But it is a small, local restaurant who I hope succeeds so I gave it 3 stars in the hopes they improves. But I'll never know, because I won't be going back. There are MANY better Italian restaurants in the area.

So, it's an expensive, even very expensive place. That's OK if the food and service are very high quality. Four of us ate there a few weeks ago. We experienced mediocre service, mediocre food and an unimpressive atmosphere. Two of us ordered the "special," a veal caprese. That was $55 pp. It was fine, but it wasn't special and wasn't worth $55. Same is true for the seafood appetizer at abt $22. The portion was not plentiful and was presented in the plainest, most ordinary way possible. Re the service, it was very difficult to get the waiter's attention and he disappeared (or just wasn't around) for 15 minutes or more at a time. Bottom line: there are many other very good Italian restaurants and I really see no need to go to Silver Spoon. PS--T\he food and service was much better at its prior location. I think the success there went to the owner's head.

The fresh homemade pasta was good, the sauce was mediocre. Service needs improvement definitely, pretty much got the bread basket very late & very shortly after we got the main meal.Quality & service doest not match.Hope this review will help the restaurant to improve.

We have tried this restaurant twice. We heard some good comments so we thought we would try it. Did not care for it the first time. Service was slow and inconsistent and the food maybe a C- Second time we tried it to give it a fair chance and it was horrible. Pasta tasted like it was out of a can and the Veal chop was tossed on a plate with lots of sauces all mediocre. The chop tasted like shoe leather. Even the coffee tasted like dishwater. Would not go back even for free.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in (RH). The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in (RH). Highly recommend!

One of my favorite restaurants in Michigan! True authentic Italian with excellent customer service. Fresh seafood, noodles, dessert & espresso. 5 stars!!!!!

Great food and super service! Our first time but we will definitely be back again and again!

The food and atmosphere were perfect. Rito is an excellent host and Faro treated us like we were dining in Italy.

Best pasta and fish on the east side. ??

Had the lamb chops, which was actually delicious. Especially with the balsamic dressing. For the price you would think they would add more mash potatoes. You get a tiny portion of potatoes and veggies. Drinks were on point and desert was awesome.
