We love Lucky's. This is the closest one to our home. We try to go frequently so we expect it to not always be 100% great. But, two times in 3 weeks they can't seem to get my 7 oz Sirloin cooked medium. It was rare yesterday and had a large chunk of fat which is not normal for a sirloin. I did not ask for a manager. Three weeks ago, I had the same steak cooked medium it came out gray and tough. No point in getting that again. I wasted much of it. My own fault I guess. I should have asked for something else.
Visited Lucky's on a whim while we were in town for a youth sports tournament. I would have given 5 stars but when we checked in, we were told there was a 20 minute wait and we ended up waiting over 40 minutes. We stayed because you could clearly see the staff working non stop and you could tell they were busting their butts to get everyone taken care of. The food was good, our server was very efficient and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. If we are ever back in the area, we'd be happy to visit again!
Let me start by saying that our waiter Shawn W was absolutely amazing and did his best to make sure my wife and I enjoyed our first time at Lucky’s. HOWEVER, my wife ordered a glass of Riesling and tasted it. It wasn’t until after she was putting the glass down that she realized there was several dried lipstick stains on the rim of the glass - she didn’t even have chapstick on!! This was utterly disgusting and made us not want to eat anything else. When we spoke to the manager regarding our issue she told us that she will only be taking off the wine. We expressed that we did not want any drinks in replacement and should be compensated for our food as well since there was obviously lackluster dish washing going on in their restaurant. The food was delicious, service and cleanliness needs some serious work.
First time eating here and it hit!! The creamy spinach slapped. The Med. Rare steak was on point. Flavor juicy and cooked correct!! The Chubky Potato Cheesy soup was watery tasting. But still ok. Let me tell you EVERYTHING ELSE!! MAN! You got to eat here!!
Ordered the prime rib with a lobster tail, side salad. Prime rib was sub-par/average not very tender. Lobster tail was average also very chewy .Side Caesar salad average also. Not going to comment on the service because the place was jam packed.
FABULOUS AS USUAL!!I've jokingly said, I'm on tour.I've been to EVERY Luckys in Michigan!!Events the one Gaylord.The food is consistent at all of them.Give me a bowl of loaded potato soup, a loaf of bread and THE BEST RASPBERRY TEA EVER And I'm good.The staff is great.Cleaning tables quickly and service is prompt!For the quality and quantity the prices are amazing!I'd say I eat there 10+ times a year
