I only eat at one Chinese restaurant and that’s in Westland, thought I’d give them a try. Very nasty my chicken taste like shrimp and the fried rice taste like oil and nothing else. Even the egg roll is disgusting. Never again
Coming from NYC I didn't think I'd find a halal Chinese food place anywhere in MI, but Dave and Adam impressed with their customer service, professionalism and of course the food! Quality and quantity were superb. The hot is definitely spicy so get the medium haha. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Chinese food. If you don't understand what halal meat is, it's similar to kosher and rules regarding animal slaughter and ethics. Better for you than Tyson and other processed junk. I'll be back to hopefully try out the entire menu over time. Thanks fellas!
This is usually my go to chinese restaurant, because the food is fantastic.. however today there was a STAPLE in my fried rice. Whenever I go to Chinese restaurants I make sure to carefully open my boxes because they are stapled shut. As you can see in the photo the staple is still in the styrofoam. As I was eating, I felt something hard and then it tasted metallic.. there was a freaking staple in my rice. Definitely not the one that was used to seal my box because that one is still there. Completely unacceptable, that could’ve ended very badly.
Ordered for the first time. The beef in the beef and broccoli was raw. Tossed it along with the szechuan chicken out of safety concern. The szechuan chicken was a little spicy but also really bland somehow. Crab rangoon was really underwhelming. Fried rice tasted only of soy sauce. Threw everything away and got food elsewhere. At least doordash offered a partial refund?I guess the white rice was fine.Really not good. Won't be ordering again.

Don't judge a book by its cover...I went here because I was craving crab Rangoon and it was the closest place. I also ordered a sesame chicken combo. The place is in a strip mall, and the small dining room is now delivery only. It looks more like an office space than a restaurant from the entry. But... oh my gosh the food was SO GOOD. Probably the best Chinese takeout I've had in a long time, and I'm very picky. Also, there was enough food for two people. I will be back.
We just moved to the area and tried about 5 places before finding and falling in love with Lam Taste! My husband always gets the almond boneless chicken, their gravy for it is so delicious! I’ve tried a few things, but am now hooked on the sechuan chicken (I like mine extra spicy)—the flavor is amazing and the veggies are fresh. Their wonton soup is THE BEST! So much flavor in the broth and the wontons. And of course love their egg rolls and crab rangoon.

Buyer beware!!! The online menu pricing is wrong. I ordered what was listed as a $10 dinner and $6 appetizer. To my suprize the total came to $25 for small portions! Not worth the money!!!! Customer service was non existing! Will not order from again.
