This is one of my all time favorite restaurant! Last night we ordered the pizza special to be picked up and was left very disappointed. The pizza was not quite done. The dough was still in raw state. The loaf of bread was the opposite and was over baked and dry. The salad was in big hunks and a lot of ends in it. Overall very sad experience for a top notch restaurant.
Everything is really pretty good. It's the sauces! The service is nearly always good. I don't think I have ever been disappointed by going to a Kruse & Muer. Try anything; it will probably be delicious.Watch out for the bread. You'll have eaten an entire loaf before you even know it.
I recently had a first dining experience here. Pomerita, Charbroiled Oysters, French Onion Soup, Lobster/Shrimp/Scallop Linguini, Jerk Fish Tacos, and Birthday Sanders Cream Puff was the collective experience. Outstanding. Everything.

The food here is great but there is an issue with how they manage and prioritize carryout orders. The estimated pickup time for a pizza and salad is 1 hour. The past few times its been an additional 30 to 45 minutes standing in the carryout room. Each time it's been explained the additional wait time is due to dine-in customers getting prioritized and carryout orders getting pushed. The food is good, but it's not wait an hour and 45 minutes for a pizza good.Update: A month and 3 orders later ND it's still the same situation. An hour and 40 minutes for a salad and bread. Quoted time was 50 minutes.
A big shoutout to Alexis… she did a great job as our server at Main Street location. Food was great!… prices were great!… service was great!! Will definitely be back and will highly recommend to all our friends! Thank you Kruse and Muer!
I ordered for crab cakes meal reading other reviews. Personally I would rate 3/5 for spice level, was so plain for me. And I would give 5/5 for the service. May try different fish next time and review back!
Very small place (reservations for sure). Absolutely tremendous food. Had crab and shrimp stuffed flounder and a cup of their chowder. Both were superb! The chowder is just spectacular. Great waitstaff also. First time here but for sure not my last.
Never. disappointed with the product. If nothing else...Kruse consistently puts out a unique offering of classic Kruse created favorites. The attention is in the ingredients which keep us coming back year after year. I household favorites are the Lobster and shrimp fettuccine and of course thr simple yet satisfying Kruse bread... Do I have any black things on my teeth?? Says my wife every time! Love it!
I had dinner last night with some very dear friends the service was terrible ,table was wobbly if you moved it too much you were going to spill your wine we did ask the maître d’ to try and fix it she did her best but it was not fixed. The fillets that my husband and I ordered were raw and cold my dear friends pasta was clumped and not cooked and sent back. The waiter asked my elderly friend if he wanted cheese on his dish when it came but could not see the dish The server brought b/ c it was behind him and he couldn’t see it and server was quite rude to him and also interrupted him another time when we were ordering because he was asking questions I found the whole experience for such a high end restaurant that they claim to be to be absolutely terrible .I don’t know what’s happened to restaurants these days but service is not what it used to be and the food is definitely not what it used to be but the prices continue to go up.It wasn’t like our bill was 50 bucks it was over 200.00!Terrible and crowded with old broken wobbly tables ! I felt like we were all packed it like sardines.
