I had a large catering order on Mother's day scheduled for 3pm. To my surprise I walked up around 3pm and it was locked with a closed sign in the door. Someone inside saw me and opened the door letting me know my order was ready. I asked when they closed they said 1:30pm. I felt bad they were waiting that long for me but I was very thankful! The staff was friendly and the food was hot, fresh and delicious! Whoever that crew was on Mothers day deserves praise. Thanks again!!!
Management here is very rude. I was yelled at by a man who appeared to be the manager to “leave his store immediately” because I walked slightly behind the counter to grab my food where they were placing orders. 5 seconds before he yelled at me a female employee called my name, sat my to go order down behind the counter and walked back into the kitchen not even waiting to see if I would walk to the counter or not. There was no one present to help me so I assumed there was no harm in me grabbing my food. I’ve had a really long day at work and needed to get home, and had already been patiently waiting in the lobby. The man (who must have been already angry) saw me grab my food but clearly was not managing his employees enough to see that the girl had literally just called my name and walked away. He immediately accused me of stealing and continued to raise his voice although I kindly explained I can show him my id and receipt if necessary. That just angered him more and he yelled at me to get out of his store immediately. Seems like he just wanted someone to take his bad day out on, because I was calm and kind the whole time. I would rather have my food sitting on the shelf where I can grab it at my own leisure than to have an experience like that or to be ignored when I want my food.**Sidenote: they almost ALWAYS are only taking mobile orders so be prepared with the app on hand just in case or just save yourself the hassle and order in advance anyways.
They are only getting a one star because my order is actually correct. Their store is filthy, no tables are wiped off and clean. The trash cans are over filled. People who work there were looking right at me while I was standing in line, I didn't notice the "online only ordering sign" it took someone who walked from the back to tell me it was only online. Okay, no big deal.. I went to the website to order and there was an error that wouldn't allow me to process it. Another customer said to download the app, which I did but why do I have to download an app? Their website should work. Upon food being ready it should be set on the shelf for customers to pick up. Instead they have a prep tablecoveted in crumbs with open plates of food their setting food on.. that's disgusting.
I would not recommend this location ever. We are very understanding of staff and product shortages, which is why continued to order from this particular location, but we’ve had enough. Last time went inside, the guy was so rude and made it seem like we were bothering him. He wasn’t listening to our order and messed it up and still gave us attitude. We started door dashing and they mess up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! And on top of that, they are very very skimpy with portions.I also forgot to mention that I always order Sofritas and one time there just so happened to be a big chunk of steak sitting on top of my bowl. Coincidence? Really, Chipotle?
In reading some of the other 1 star reviews they basically say exactly what I would have said so let me try express my review a little differently. Cleanliness, quality, food item availability, deplorable, as one reviewer put it. It is the best one word description. To the franchisee - you should be embarrassed to allow your business to fall to this level and I'm so done with with hearing about covid and supply chain excuses. This is your life, do what it takes to make it work. With regard to missing food items from the menu, OK, maybe the corporation wants you to to purchase through them but look where you are. You have a grocery store across the lot on one side, another one across the street and a wholesale/retail food distributor store a mile away. My advice to you is on one of those days when you seemingly close for no reason, close and never open again letting someone worthy of being in The Village occupy that space . To the Chipotle Corporation - Do you read the reviews for this place? The fact that you appear to have no control over your franchisee it has led me to my decision to never frequent any Chipotle location. To the owner of The Village, Get this business out of there.
I always get great service. The people that work there are very cool. I've witnessed the managers deal with tough situations with courtesy and patience. They frequently have Chipotle Tabasco and that is a must for any burrito.
Very disappointing. I understand covid had led to a massive staffing shortage. I aim to be extremely patient and understanding as I too work in an understaffed business and profession.This will be the last time I come to this location and likely this chain. The tables in the dining area were dirty. The drink/condiment station was in deplorable condition... Lots of garbage in with flatware, lids, etc. (It was worse before I took the picture.) The staff was rude and made multiple order errors due to failing to listen to what was being asked. No salsa came with the chips. The chips were stale. It was only 2pm and they were not going to make any more fajita veggies for the day. The food was lukewarm and sub par at best. I hope they are able to make the appropriate changes to get into a better spot.
I never write reviews because everybody has a bad day now and then, plus worker shortages...buuut, wow this place is a dump! I see there was some owner comments, but owner needs to spend less time commenting and more time training the staff in customer service, food handling, cleaning, and general courteousness. There are plenty of options for food in the Village, do yourself a favor and seek them out!
This place has to close. The worst food I ever tasted in my life. I had to come on here and advise people to not waste there time or money. Not only did they not have rice, they didn't have fajita vegetables either. The chicken was cold and burnt. I took 2 bites and threw it in the trash were it belongs. Not sure what happened to this place but it seriously has no business being open. DO NOT BOTHER
Food was ok. The restaurant was dirty, they were only doing online ordering even with 8 people working. Forgot the salsa with chips, and the ice machine does not have ice. Poor customer service. Will not eat at this location again.
