Love this diner! Food is so much better than Rams Horn. Carry out is super quick and they have great variety!
Certain things on the menu are good and certain things are just not good at all. Like the stuffed peppers, there's just something about the meat and taste of it that is off-putting. And the breaded pork chops seem like Frozen patties that were just fried up and gravy thrown on them. Some menu items are good, however the pricing is way off. They haven't updated their menus and they will not give you a takeout menu when you ask for one. If you go online right now they have breakfast specials and the number one says it is $8.99. I went in and paid for it and it was $12.71 out the door. Asked why and was told everything cost more now so prices went up. Well that's fine but why would you not update that on your website, especially a $3 price difference for a breakfast. All they would have to do is take a picture of their menu and put it on their website. Weird that a place would update their menus inside but leave the ones online with old prices. And to be honest the person that checked me out seemed to have quite an attitude about it. I still left a tip even though I wasn't happy with the pricing, and I laid it down and she just walked away because she was irritated with me asking her why the menu price was different from online. I'm sure they get that question a lot but if you get that question a lot, why have you not done anything about it.
Our waitress was nice- efficient- food was ok- I had French toast 2 slices. My daughter had a chicken wrap w potato chips.. No drinks just water. Total bill was $25 including a tip.
Used to be an incredible restaurant with high quality food. Not any longer.Raised the prices and lowered the quality. No better than mediocre fast food at this point... but still three times the price.Also cut way back on the portions.Higher prices + lower quality = Do yourself a favor and stay outta this place.
Was seated at 12:55pm. Half filled restaurant. No one came to take an order by 1:12. Guy came in for pick up. They took care of him right away. Thought I could get the waitress' attention. No success. Left after 15 mins. Still no one acknowledged as we walked out.
Good food and good service
Walked in by myself for breakfast a few days ago and the second I was “greeted” by the waitress I was wondering if I picked the wrong spot. $15 for a farmers omelette with a side of hash browns and bacon added to the omelette. Omelette was served warm but not hot, hash browns were hot but burned quite noticeably and my toast was black on the back. Ordered my wife a carry out which was equally disappointing, and ended up paying far too much for a low quality breakfast served at a snails pace by a waitress with no personality what so ever. In the area you have FAR better options all within just a few minutes of this place, I don’t think I’m going to give Alex a second shot.
Comforting, friendly, and a fantastic deal! Several daily specials...daily. Come for the beef stroganoff, stay for the tapioca!
Food is always good. We had the fried chicken and would definitely go back for it.
Always consistent service and quality of food. Great place to meet friends, bc it's close to the freeway.
