So glad I went to the about page of their website before visiting. Thank you! I will only support businesses where the owners wear a mask.I should put this here. *sarcasm*
I was really disappointed that there are no ingredients lists available for items. As someone with food sensitivities, I'm used to not being able to eat food, but even the flavored syrups had no ingredients available, so there goes Italian soda. If you have food sensitivities or allergies, this may not be your best bet for a meeting. I felt pretty awkward with only my very expensive water, as there was literally nothing else besides black coffee and espresso I could eat or drink. (For people who can only drink rooibos or mint teas due to stomach sensitivities, they didn't have those either.) Pretty cafe but I won't return.
The spicy masala chi tea is the best tea I have ever ordered. I often make it from scratch and this is better than mine.
The barista was super nice. I order a latte and it came as ordered, tasted awesome. Consistent with other locations. Great service.
The vegan food options are great. Knowledgeable staff. They keep track of potential food allergies I. What they serve.
I absolutely love waterstreet. It's close to my work and getting a sandwich and a chi latte is my favorite. They have great food amazing selections and a variety of different choices for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters. It's a little pricey so it's not a everyday treat but I do absolutely love it!
Always a pleasure to go here. Doesn't matter if its for a coffee, a snack, or a meal - The service and the quality are always the best. Thank you!☕☕
Great friendly service. Coffee, matcha and breakfast food all were delicious.
Like the blonde girlRating the speed of cashier and efficiencyTip I would make coffee while working if I was you just cause your slower than average placesSo then you won't have to tell a customer you made wait already because how not fast you are lol then say wait 5 minutes we are out of coffeeUmm can't you just hit a button and wait when you notice it's getting low ahead of time??What are you doing with all the time it takes you to perform task?
Coffee is my co-pilot.No, really. It is more than just a beverage used to prop up my heavy eyelids and scrape my parts into human form to survive the harsh headwinds of this predatory year.Coffee is my deep delight.Water Street is a standout. The large location in Portage at Centre and Shaver Road is the best of the three locations I have had a cuppa at two other locations. What sets this location apart is the lovely patio with lots of outdoor seting and the bright, large double level dining are. There is a ton of natural light an abundance of seating. The coffee is so-so good. they offer many different beans for the daily drip coffee served-some of the varietals are very uncommon and rarely seen offered on coffehouse menus. The brew strength is exactly right-full, robust without any bitterness. They offer a wide range of local/homemade pastries/sandwiches/cookies/small lunch bites and breakfast wraps/burritos. The ones I have tried are as very tasty. They are a bit pricey compared to some of the other local coffee joints, but they are also far better than most, far at the top of my Kalamazoo caffeine list.See you there in the morning, bright and early. I'm already dreaming of that steaming first cup o" the day.
