The burger I received was picturesque and tasted great. Steak ‘n Shake is my favorite fast food restaurant. The pricing is unbeatable in comparison to other fast food restaurants and the quality is amazing, especially considering the price.
The tech didn't work well but someone came to assist us. Food was very good. I greatly prefer having a wait staff to technology though.
Great shake, fries, burger was good just need to order a triple patty because they are small
I love this place I live in Detroit and I drove all the way to Kalamazoo for steak and shake ???????
Just bad, didn't get my drink, they put up a fight to not give me my drink even with a receipt. The food was bad, the drive through etiquette was non-existent, the drive through lane isn't clearly defined.
There was no one else in the drive thru in front of me. I still had to wait 10 minutes for two burger meals and a shake. 4 workers standing inside and no one had the curtesy to open the window and update me or apologize for the wait. Then I get all the way home and realized they forgot my fries. I honestly don’t know how that’s possible. It was not busy, and they had all the time in the world. The incompetence and carelessness is ridiculous by any standards.
The staff was so fast and friendly. Shakes were okay. They all taste like vanilla with a little topping on them. One kid ordered a Nutella shake and they just didn't put enough flavoring in it. Cookie dough just tasted like vanilla with a few chunks of cookie dough in it.
The one star is for the 1 good thing, the food. The place was filthy, and the floor so sticky it kept pulling my flip flops off. There are no waitresses. You have to prepay and order on a machine. Then we had to stand around wondering how to get a cup for soda as only the cook is in sight, but he was busy cooking and we didn't want to bother him. We went out for a dining in experience outside of our home town and won't be returning.
No longer using waitresses, have gone to self ordering via computers and numbered receipts so you can serve yourself and pick up your own food. Didn't feel much like Steak and Shake anymore.
Ordered 2 strawberry shakes and they were literally pink and tasted like strawberry syrup. The manager was mad that I wanted a refund. Besides that, this location is ran down and dirty. Everybody has an ugly attitude. Shut it down.
