Went to order on the patio. Pressed the order button and continued to wait for over 6 mins just to have someone come and tell us that they were busy and only serving drive through. Mind you there were 8 people on the clock and 2 orders on their screen. If you can't work more than 2 orders at a time your restaurant shouldn't even be open. There is no reason why anybody should have to wait an hour for food, especially at a restaurant designed to bypass that.

We, were on our way home from a day long trip from Chicago. So, our kids were getting hungry and we decided to stop here to get something to eat. They were still open and we got their at 7:34 pm on July 23rd 2022 and they had a line but, we were waiting patiently. But, the guy holding a orange cone said they were closed but the hours said open until 8:00 pm. The Girl manager was very rude and ignored our car. But, they were a line of cars. So, we left and went to another place with better customer service. We, will never go to Sonic in Portage Mi again. We, have been to other Sonic’s and had great customer service but, not the one in Portage MI. ?

Burger tasted great! It was on very chewy toast but it was still good. I also got a mixer but it wasn't mixed. A tiny bit of stuff was on the top and thats it. Hopefully, it was an honest mistake and that they usually put in more stuff in them regularly. It did taste good though.

I actually went through the drive through. I want to give the sonic team around 4:27 pm on 6/16/22 they're props.. The was a mix up with my order but they happily fixed the missed hap. I appreciate the honesty of the on shift new manager who in fact offered other options of taking care of the issue with such professionalism & great costumer service. Despite forgetting to take my information down, for I can tell they were nervous. They definitely handled the issue very well with great customer service/ professionalism an that now a days I in fact truly appreciate. So thank you sonic for a very good experience.

I don't like giving these one star reviews but this time I can't give more. The only reason I'm giving one star is because at least the Coke was good. The fries were burnt and tasted like they had been refined at least 3x, the popcorn chicken was tasteless. I know your short staffed but YOUR FOOD doesn't have to show your short staffed. I've been to places that's short staffed and their food doesn't show it like this did. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER. I don't recommend this place, it has went way below their standards. Sorry Sonic.

Such a hit or miss with this place. One time good with nice employees with fast service and the next is the complete opposite. The cherry on top was tonight tried to order on the app and when we arrived it was closed.. supposed to be open till 8pm but closed at 6pm. Maybe not on the store but whoever manages the app. Only reason we go is its the only sonic around..

Went to this sonic waited 10 mins before I was able to order, then when I was able to order, I ordered the dill burger with no lettuce just ketchup, mustard and tomatoes. I repeated my order 3 times and the order was read back to me 3 times. I get to the check out window waited 10 more minutes for my order to get home and the order is totally wrong!!! Not even what I ordered!!!! And to make the situation worse, the burger was room temperature! It definitely wasn't fresh!! I was definitely disappointed!!!

I guess my expectations were too high. Ordered a banana shake, as I sat at the window watching a young lady make it I was surprised to see she was handling the banana without any covering for her hands, then disappeared to the back to grab another banana I assume from storage area. As I watched her puree 1/2 the original banana I guess I thought it would be blended with ice cream....NOT! Said puree went into the bottom of the cup, then apparently fill with vanilla soft serve, then second 1/2 of banana was mixed with about 2 tbsp soft serve then pureed again and dumped on top the vanilla ice cream. Not at all impressed! I overlooked the very lengthy wait as the have barely any staff (like most places post-pandemic) but was truly disappointed ?

After waiting in line forever we get to the speaker to order our food and dealt with the rudest person ever. She not only talks down to you like you’re stupid she also insults you if you don’t order something exactly as she knows it. We ended up leaving out of line and not spending any money there. We don’t frequent Sonic often so excuse us for not ordering in a way that you understand. Zero lack of understanding or customer service. What happened to manners be a priority when you work with the public. I personally am in management in customer service and I don’t care if the customer is wrong, you don’t treat them with disrespect ever.

Good service. Food was hot. The Nerd slushy was deliciously sweet, but candy got stuck in the bottom of the straw. Staff was friendly and eager to serve my family's order.
