Classic local bar. Walls covered in local amateur team memorabilia. Best olive burger in town. Keno, 2 pool tables, jukebox. They even have an outdoor area.
No drink specials but delicious burgers. Wait staff is always friends but could use a 2nd bartender. Nice patio area out back with 3 corn hole boards. Bags are provided but I recommend you bring your own if your a serious player.
RJ’s refused to serve me and you know what? They were right. Nothing dramatic went down but the bartender could tell it wasn’t my first stop, and I respect her for offering me food and refusing me the beer. It’s almost always difficult to cut someone off, but from one bartender to another I appreciated her method and demeanor. Professionalism at its finest.
Found this place randomly and so happy that i did. My best friend and i came in and were greeted with warm welcomes by Shevonne. She was so sweet and the food was good. Thank you for such kindness.
Definite South Portage staple, nice people, good pool tables, and the food is great bar fare. Definitely a nice place for a game of pool and dinner or lunch.

My 26 year old son and I walked into RJ’s tonight and got kicked out immediately. They said he was too drunk and had squinty eyes so we had to leave. What that didn’t realize is my son has autism and OCD. When in fact , we just went in the bar to play some pool and get out of the house. Unfortunately, my son’s constant has been rejection, but I truly was shocked that a bar that serves so many people that have drank too picked on someone that they just didn’t understand! Shame on you RJ’s, I hope you take more time out to find out about the people who are visiting your establishment.
I love RJs, very much a local dive type bar, but burger is very tasty, and love the atmosphere!
