I have always loved Ritter's, but on one of the hottest days of the year I took my 12 lb dog to share some custard. I asked for one of the small sundae bowls with just about 1/4 cup of water. They refused! For the prices they charge, they could not spare a small styrofoam cup with water for my dog? Not a good way to endear and respect your faithful customers.
I got a Glacier with wild cherry and coconut. When you see the picture of the glacier on their menu, it's being held upside down, indicating that it is thick and you eat it with a spoon. When they gave it to me after making it, it was more like a melted milkshake. So I went to go ask for a straw but nobody came to the window to help me even though they saw me waiting. Not only was the consistency totally wrong, the flavor was atrocious. The cherry flavor seemed very artificial and way too much added. Overall, YUCK and not what I paid for. I took a couple spoonfuls and then threw it in the trash.
It's refreshingly honest ice cream. Clean fresh ingredients and friendly, patient staff. There is even an outdoor area to eat your favorite summer snacks. Just a cute place. I'm definitely a fan.
I used to love this store and recommend it to all. The new management is not customer service oriented. The manager makes excuses instead of just making it right. It makes me wonder about the new ownership and who they hire. The ice cream is so amazing but I am not sure it is worth the bad experience of going to buy it.
Love their Strawberry shortcake, best one I have found to date. Seriously one of our favorite places to go for cool treats in the summer.
I visit here at least once a week and everything i've tried was delicious! The custard is rich and creamy, never any ice crystals. The mix in options area wide but not daunting. And the staff is always friendly. When busy be patient as there are only so many mixing machines available.
This place has great frozen custard, it's very creamy and nice to eat. Has many flavors and varieties to choose from. Has a nice outdoor segment with a park in the back, and a walk up in the front with seats to sit and wait in. Wonderful place to eat at if you're looking for a nice frozen treat.
Great custard and sundaes. Got the Peanutbutter Mountaun and it was a large portion and really a good one to share. The waffle cones are made fresh and they are delicious!
So many options and all of them are good. Line can be long but it's worth the wait
Delicious frozen custard...far better than regular ice cream. Reasonable too...a generous scoop in a cup for under $3.
