Very great place to have a business sit down or a delicious meal with your family. The NY strip steak was cooked and seasoned exactly how one would expect. Drink list is very well put together and there is no lack of care when putting together a cocktail. Starters are damn near meal portion sized and the bartenders are as friendly as they come. Highly recommended you try this gem. You'd be paying a higher dollar anywhere else for what you'll receive here.
Great local spot with delicious food and kind service. They were super busy but still kept up on keeping our drinks full and timed our appetizers and entrees perfectly. I will say I order sweet potato fries everywhere and usually they are plain, savory, or they give you an option. I thought these would be the same set up but they were super sweet and cinnamon-y, and I hate cinnamon ?. They replaced them with regular fries which came out super fast so that was much appreciated! But would love to see a description under the fries in the future because I will no doubt forget by the time we go out for dinner again! Hubby’s pork was phenomenal and my steak was perfectly cooked! ? Thanks Craftsman Chop Co!
Always amazing food, great staff.Must try coconut mojito and Mahi Mahi when on special. Tiramisu cheesecake is melt in your mouth delicious.
tonight was our first time at Craftsman and we will definitely be back, the small plates, the entrées, desserts, drinks, service, atmosphere..... everything was PERFECT!!!!!!
The first experience my wife and I had was not to great due to service. We ended up leaving because no one was assisting us to a table. Since that experience we have been here twice and found a new restaurant in town that we love. The food was delicious especially the steak. The steak I had was by far one of the best I have had in town. Not necessarily because of the seasoning, but the way it was cooked and the quality of the meat. The steak was like butter MmmMmm. Service was great too! Thank you!
Great food, great service. They have small plates and a full service bar. We weren't a huge fan of the shrimp, however- but everything else was amazing. We will be going back.
I had the pork quesadilla. It was very good. I would recommend that to anyone. Drinks were very good. The staff was very courteous and our staff person, Sophia was very attentive to our needs. Extra kind to the grandkids.
I was disappointed they would not take a reservation fir s party of 12. Had to go a 1/2 hour early to secure a table for the time the rest if our party was to arrive. Service and food were wonderful.
Found this in the hidden gem after a frustrating evening trying to find someplace to eat on a Saturday night in portage. The staff was friendly and sat us almost immediately. We enjoy Brussel sprouts but the brussel sprouts appetizer here was the best either of us have ever had! We had the New York strip and the lake perch, both of us had sweet potato fries and it was all delicious! The end of the evening with the peanut butter pie and the lava cake and still was not disappointed. The atmosphere was casual yet the food was decadent. There were TVs to watch the game and a bar for drinks but it was not loud, so we could have casual conversation at our table without having to yell or feeling like the people next to us could hear us. Sometimes the bathroom say a lot about a place but these were not only clean, they had candles, nice hand soap, hand lotion, and even high-quality toilet paper rather than the thin cheap stuff! Well done Craftsman! We will definitely be back!
