Our server and service and food was great for the special occasion my husband birthday
Excellent food served up by a lovely young woman. The experience of cooking on the stone was a fun adventure. I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasionl
Waitress was friendly and attentive. The main course was a bit slow to the tablet, but our appetizer and sides were there to keep our hunger at bay!
Great food, loved cooking my own steak. The blueberry Moscow mules were delicious. Servers were a little noisy when cleaning off the table, but other than that, a wonderful experience!
22st birthday. Had the best waitress ever.
I met two friends from Indiana for lunch at the Black Rock. None of us had eaten there previously. We shared the Halloumi Cheese Bruschetta for an appetizer. It was delicious with its balsamic reduction as a sauce and the halloumi cheese texture a delight on the palate. The three entree's (two different salad selections and one French Dip sandwich with fries. All were delicious. The French dip was slightly and intriguingly spicey - very good! The Black Rock was not crowded for lunch (Priority seating would not have been required). The wait staff was good, but not exceptional. I will be going back and can easily recommend this restaurant to others. (Note, the Black Rock in Portage, MI, is one 'node' in a small chain of such restaurants and this review applies only to the one in Portage, MI)
Great food and Service I would highly recommend Black Rock. We had a party of 8 and everything was perfect.
Poor service. Food took an hour
