Found on Maps with great reviews so decided to give it a chance. You can tell that this is the locals favorite place for quick meals. Let me start off by saying our service was great! Our waitress made us feel like family. As far as the food goes, I wasn't the biggest fan. I requested eggs over easy, I received medium which isn't the end of the world because I still enjoyed it. The hashbrowns were hard but mushy at the same time. The steak I requested to be medium rare hoping that it would be atleast be medium due to it being a diner. Nope, it was well done. I dont think I will return for breakfast but lunch options look well. Adding a picture of this delicious burger we received as well.
Whether we're grabbing dessert to go or treating our daughter to her favorite local haunt, this Plymouth staple is nothing if not consistent. They don't try to be any more than an all-American Diner (with their ethnic roots showing through a few Greek dishes) that they are and you'll never get any less of an experience than you put into it. I'm always pleasant with the staff and they've never been rude with me. Take it or leave it, at any hour of the day or night, you'll always get a genuine Zack's experience here.
Quaint American diner with great food and friendly staff. Doesn't look like much from the outside but don't judge a book by its cover. Small parking lot but good enough.
Served completely raw chicken. Disgusted. After telling our waitress, she said “sorry, the owners don’t care”. I proceeded to attempt to prevent food poisoning, while still having to pay for my food.
Great place to grab breakfast! My eggs were a perfect medium, toast was toasted just right and well buttered. My food was out quick and my waitress was friendly and attentive. One of the few places around open 24 hours, but still great quality diner food. I'll go here again the next time I'm up late and hungry.
My niece and I had a late lunch at Zack's today. Our waitress was very sweet. In fact, all of the waitresses were friendly and helpful. The food was good but not outstanding. My niece really enjoyed her Polish skillet. My hot turkey sandwich, however, was rather ordinary. Would I try Zack's again? Yes. Next time I'd like to try a breakfast dish.
I placed an order for my sons hockey team. Will was amazing. Very kind and accommodating. He prepared 28 Chicken parmesan for the boys. They all enjoyed it so much. He was super thoughtful and made sure he did everything he could so the boys enjoyed their meal. Great service , Great food and Prompt service .Thank you Will and Patti. You guys are the best!
The service was pretty bad on our recent visit, and I don't think we'll be back.We visited on a Sunday afternoon. The wait to get out order taken was long. The wait to get out food was long. And the service was just unfriendly and inattentive as heck.The food was so-so. It would have been better if it was served hot. It had clearly been sitting for a while, and the hash browns were cooked to death.Overall disappointing experience.
Great place to eat for fair price. They serve big portions and the food was great. Will definitely come back..???
The service was not good. It took forever to be waited on and there was plenty of waitstaff. Everyone had to ask twice for things. There was an odd smell near the fireplace as if gas was escaping. The food was mediocre at best and it took quite a long time to get. The waitress forgot my soup which was very distasteful once I did get it. There were absolutely no covid protocols going on here. Nothing. I will be finishing my elsewhere from now on.
